I first off want to say that anyone who reads this thread is welcome here, and cared about!! I want LOTS of chairs pulled up to this table so anyone who wants a place can squeeze right in! This is a BIG turkey and will feed many!

I'll start by saying I am thankful for having this wonderful site to come to, and ALL of my friends here, who have been kind, loving and supportive thru all of my trials! Thank you all, for being here for me, right from the beginning, when my life seemed to have a dark cloud around. The cloud has lifted and the sun has come in. Though there are times when I'm hit with some little storms, they always pass, and it always helps to know I can come here and feel the warmth!

So let's hear it! Break out the pumpkin pie and share your thoughts!! 😉

Jenni,

This is a great idea. What do you need me to bring? Sweet potato pie?

I am thankful for my health. My job. My friends. My sweet animals. The family members that I can visit with and learn from.

I am thankful that, despite of the things that happened and damaged me in the past, I still have the capacity for love, empathy, and compassion.

I am thankful I am tenacious and have a strong instinct for survival.

I am thankful that I am finally able to trust myself again.

I am thankful for the clarity I have.

I am thankful that my immediate family is so loyal and loving that they tell everyone I make the ONLY, best turkey stuffing ever.

I am anxious about how "feelings" will fly around tomorrow at my extended family's gathering. Anyone else have that confused anticipation that SOMEONE will flare up at SOMEONE else? Yet they come. Because it's family.

Because if you don't come, then others will think you don't like them, etc.

I'm thankful for Holidays because otherwise we might never get an opportunity to face our differences!!

I am thankful for my AAC family.

I am thankful for over four months of No Contact and how this has empowered me and changed my life.

I am thankful for my supportive mother who believes in my possibilities and supports me dreams. Took me a long time to see her this way, but she has always been supporting me.

I am thankful for my ability to forgive the past and embrace the present and future.

I am thankful for my friends, even if they are only here in spirit today.

I am thankful for my house, my car, my pets, my job, my school program, my talents, my good health, my commitment to good health practices, this sunny day, and time away from school and work this weekend.

I am thankful for my dreams that spur me on to doing my best.

I give thanks to God for making this all possible.

(((My best to all of you)))

I am very thankful for finding this site a few months ago, and for feeling comforted and cared for when I come here.

I am thankful that God has allowed me to live this life, as hard as it may be sometimes.

I am thankful for my beautiful children who love me no matter what!!

I am thankful for my mom who is like an angel to me and for my dad who would do anything for me.

I am thankful for my sisters who always have a shoulder for me to cry on and don't judge me.

I am thankful for my friends who have held on even when I pushed them away.

I am thankful for the roof over my head and the food that keeps us fed, and once again thankful God has allowed me to have all of these people/things in my life.

I am thankful for the AAC and everyone on this site. I have never had such good friends, even though we have not met in person, we have met in kindred spirit and are sisters, and brothers, too.

I am thankful for all the gifts, talents, intellegence and LOVE that God has given me and the good health that HE has given me, so that I may enjoy them all.

I am thankful that God has answered the prayers of someone that I loved and was in love with for decades and had him find me after all these years!

I am thankful for my friends who love me, have supported me and helped me, when I was down and when I was "crazy", on and off this site!

I am thankful for my cats, who love me and try to comfort me when I cry or when I am down...and do things to make me laugh.

I am thankful for all the good people on this earth who do good things for others.

And, I hope that those, who are not from the USA, will join us at your table, Jenni. And I thank you, this is a wonderful idea!

I am just THANKFUL for everything GOOD, KIND, and LOVING in this world!

I am thankful for meeting the AAC family.

I wish you all a great Thanksgiving. I am Canadian, so I celebrated Thanksgiving last month. I would like to contribute a bottle of homemade wine to go along with your turkey. I would like to raise a toast to all of you.

Wow, I'm so pleased at this turnout!! Thank you EVERYONE who has pulled up a chair and is sharing! Sometimes, it takes a holiday as this to truly look at our lives and see what we have to be thankful for.

I'm thank for my girls, my job, the roof over my head, the food on my table, my very loving and supporting parents, my friendships, my family, my bed, the clothes on my back, my truck and my imaginary horse, BUCK!! LOL! 😉

And there is so much more, but I just want to express my gratitude and love for this site and everyone here! Thank you ALL for being here! This is so special to me and reminds me of the things I have to be thankful for and that my glass is half full, not empty, (thanks to that complimentary wine that was brought to the table!) LOL!

Love to everyone,

Jenni

I am thankful for my supportive, loving family and few close friends I have.

I am thankful for having a good career, a roof over my head, and so many other "wants" that I dont even need.

I am thankful that I have not given up when life gets tough, that I hold on to my hope and my faith.

I am grateful for all the people that have come into my life and changed it forever.

I am thankful to all the soldiers that are away from their families during these holidays to continue to fight for our country.
