They DID it!! My girls received their diplomas last night, and it was the most moving moments of my life! I didn't know how this would even feel! Just to see your children have such an defining moment in their lives, was just as exciting as the day of their birth! WOW!! And I get to do this one more time, next year! What a true honor! And one of them was even in the newspaper this morning, looking as gorgeous as ever! It was a picture of her from the side view, looking up! It chokes me up!! 😉

It all went well. My XH was a little annoying, but he got some good pics of them. All of our in and out of town company were there. And when the girls were called up, there was such a LOUD cheer and uproar like you wouldn't BELIEVE!! I know all the families do this, but I truly believe we were the loudest! Not to mention that we did it TWICE, because there were two! Wow, I'm still feeling the rush from this!!

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you guys! This was a moment that couldn't have been ruined by ANY thoughts of my personal life!! I was surrounded by family and relatives that all were there for me and the girls while they were growing up, and I feel blessed for these people who care so much!

I also feel blessed for having my family here on this board, to come and share with, some of the important events and happenings in my life. And for once, I'm sharing about something that does NOT pertain to my "love-life"! Nothing could have even touched last night!! Thankyou all for being here for me and helping me thru the good and hard times! I am grateful for this!;)

Congratulations to you all!!

And please remember Jen that you had a lot to do with this Happy Day! As their mother you have taught them the value of education as well as finishing something that they started and with success too. Bravo to you all!!!

Thankyou, LS! It really was a challenge in getting them thru! Especially with the little "rebel" twin! LOL! But that just made me all the MORE proud!

My youngest will graduate this time next year, and I know that I won't be sweat'n so much with that one! School comes very natural to her. Plus, there is only ONE of her! LOL! So next year, I will know what to expect, and I can't WAIT! I know that she feels kind of like a 3rd wheel, next to the twins, but I'm glad that she is a year behind, so I'll have the honor of doing this again. Plus, it'll be special in a different way, because all of the attention will be on only her.

Anyway, thanks for letting me share this with you!

CONGRATS to both your girls and to you mom. You did a great job of raising them. Now you get to watch all the hard work you did bloom into two beautiful women. Blessings to you and your girls.

Thankyou, Mama! For once, I feel good about the choices I made, in not uprooting them, to run off and get married. I never could have done that to them. This is their home, and they were my FIRST priority. So now, I'm at peace, in just confirming that I did right by them. Last night was the proof of that! 🙂 The REAL result of one good choice made! AMEN!

Congratulations, Jen, you should be very proud. You have been a great mother, and it's not easy being a single one. It's an accomplishment of yours, too. Isn't it amazing and cool how the really important moments in life make all the other stuff so trivial, sometimes for only the day, but it could last longer and will when we feel better and get healthier.

Congrats!

Thankyou SO and SS! Yep, that was a moment that dominated ALL moments, other than the day of their birth! Just AWESOME!

And yeah, I did have them all 3 in diapers at the same time. I was 19 and 20 when I had them, so I think I had age on my side at the time, physically, anyway. Mentally, I didn't have a bloody CLUE what was really happening! Just diapers and bottles, ect...and very LITTLE sleep. I know I could never survive those days, NOW! LOL!

Anyway, it was something I will ALWAYS remember! Thankyou for your replies!! Love ya' guys...

congratulations to you and yours. Without you, the twins would have lost out on a wonderful role model. Being a single mother is hard enough. We are very proud of you for holding yourself high at this time in front of both families.
You go girl.....
