you as always give me good words I can use in the clinch. Not that I don't appreciate everyone's help, I do or I wouldn't be here I guess.

It's funny Mar, I've always been the go to guy for all my friends but, when I've needed someone there for me, it doesn't happen.

I am compassionate, loving, understanding, and care very much for the people around me. A couple of my friends have pointed out that I always look for the good in people first, that's my weakness because I'm usually taken advantage of in that way.

And...."wonderwoman" because your words here to me or others never seize to amaze me at times.

Regards, Dalpuz

You are very welcome Dalpuz,

It is nice to hear from you.

I am also that kind of a person..always the person someone runs to, very trusting person and I do get very dissappointed when I am in a relationship or sometimes with people that I've put my trust in. I always treat people the way I want to be treated.

In my next relationship I try and be a little more careful and guarded...its going to be very hard to do because it is not in my nature.

Most men do see me as "wonderwoman" and are intimidated because I do take care of everything and have been for a very long time. I wish that just once someone would take the lead and take care of me.

Keep looking ahead and dont look back..there are great things ahead of you.

Marlex

Hi Dalpuz,

Doing ok..no I dont think it is a booty call at all. Hard to explain, but it is not. Dont really know what is going on..maybe he just wants my friendship..which at this point is all I want.

Where did you live before Toronto?

Southwestern Ontario, near Windsor/Detroit area. Family is just to big and everyone's married, retired, or a frickin matchmaker. I was going the Michigan all the time to have fun but it just got to be too much, especially driving home drunk for back to whatever motel room one of ya's had. It wasn't the life I wanted at the time. Definetely not now.

I've got a good core group of friends here, a small community within a large city overlooking the water. A modern day Melrose place for sure, ya have to be careful what ya tell people around here. Anywhere I guess.

Are you west coast US or Canada?

California is where I make my home.. Have some nice friends here and do keep very busy schedule...but still always seem to attract the wrong people in my life...I am trying to change my ways and thought that if I search for me who were less attractive, I would have better luck.
Think I have dated every profession in the book (take that back, ALMOST)

I've never asked any woman what they do for a living, I don't care. They usually make it a point at some time or another to let me know and ask the same of me. In Toronto I sometimes feel that I should have 5 year financial portfolio when I go out to clubs just to qualify to buy a girl a drink.

My point is, do you try to meet men who accent your life? The things you enjoy to do, sports, travel, going to the show, emotionally, sexually ....I don't know.

I find that in my home town, just because I owned a couple of business, I had alot of knocks on the door but it was always a financial fishing trip and I wasn't interested.

I'd rather lay on the beach with a bottle of wine and a couple of hotdogs watching the sun drop, then spend a $1,000 on dinner only to find the other person taking you for a ride.

What do you do when your not at work?

When I an not at work I enjoy travelling, hiking is a big passion for me..I run a few miles a week.

I have met a few people while travelling but that has never worked out because of the distance. Met a couple of people in one of my career choices.

Skydive, scubadive, snow or water ski? boating, etc? I enjoy doing them all...ya feel so good at the end of the day, like your breathing life pure eh...don't ya think?

I love back country hiking, i've got the dog(akita, used to have 2) for it so not much matters when i'm out there. I did a couple days out in the back country of Whistler BC a couple of years back and if I didn't just buy a restaurant at that time, I would have stayed.

I pack on Toronto island in the winter. Puzzle holds a six pack of cans a side with his saddle bags, that and a couple of sandwiches and doggy biscuits, and I'm good for the day over there. Doesn't hurt to pack the Charmin though, found that one out over the Christmas holidays. LOL
