This is rather late, but thank you for the thread "Man's Search for Meaning" It has helped me very much in recovering from major depression, suicidal thoughts, and in feeling okay with not feeling okay. I've been visiting this site since June or so, though haven't posted much, but have learned a lot from everyone. I especially enjoy reading your posts, and am in awe of your wisdom and succinctness, especially for your age (no offense). I was inspired to buy and read the book by Frankl and I have to say it was better than expected. I also went on to read his "Psychotherapy and Existentialism" which I found deeply meaningful. I followed the MSFM thread and learned quite a bit, though I have to admit I got lost in the discussion around November, as the fields of psychology and psychiatry are alien to me and I don't know the names, theories, terms, etc. I'm still searching for my own meaning, but I feel much better knowing that this searching and uneasiness is "not pathological, but rather the surest sign of being truly human." So thanks! And good luck with your full load this semester.

Wow! Thanks so much! I just wanted to share something that helped me through tough times. My mom was the one who loaned me the book when I was about 15 and it definately changed my modes of thinking. I'm just glad it did the same for someone else!!
