I am in college studying education and in 2 days I take my praxis examination. Some history first, the praxis is a three test packet and you must pass all 3 in order to be formally accepted n2 the teacher education program at the university. 1 problem, I have passed 2 parts with almost a perfect score and missed the 3rd one by only 1 point 2 times. In 2 days, I endeavor to retake the praxis and I am extremely nervous. Sometimes, I feel so nervous I can't sleep. I am a junior and if I do not pass, I am really in a bind. I have studied but I am still a little fearful. I remember the 2nd time I took it, I was at college in North Carolina and the NC requirement is 323. I scored 324 and transfered to a MAryland College ready to move on to the next level. But, that night after celebrating with friends and partying and just elated by passing the praxis, I get a call from my mother. The MD requirement was 325! I dropped the telephone where I stood, tears began to run down my face and I was devastated. My so called "best" friend was anything but comforting. He yelled at me and told me to shut up, that it wasn't as serious as what he went through. He then went on to tell me about his growing up w/out a father, needless to say, we're not friends anymore b/c I always helped him thru his problems and he didn't help me but got on my case. Anyway, getting back on subject I was caused all that pain by not passing the 2nd time and it really hurt. Now, here I stand about to take it the 3rd time and I am a nervous wreck. If you have any suggestions they'd really be appreciated, especially Ladeska :o). Had to add that, I gotta find something to be silly with while I'm going through this stress. Thanks.

Language your success like its in the bag number one. You know your gonna do it this time, there are no other possibilities. Do some yoga, so that you clear your head, if you don't know yoga, then do some really deep breathing, the oxygen will help. Get pleanty of sleep, and have a great dinner and breakfast. We always get anxious when there is something that we really want. But its yours allready, you just have to go through the motions again. In the bag. Now breath.
