I hope posting these tools is of help to anyone suffering from love addiction or whatever else is happening in your life that is causing you grief, pain, and being happy.
All the best--- Alegab

The Tools-
Stay away from slippery places. Use the 24 hour plan. Remember sex and love addiciton is an incurable, progressive, fatal disease. Live and let live. Get active. Use the serenity prayer. Change old routines. Make use of "telephone therapy". Add to your bottom line behavior. Find a sponsor. Do first things first. Get plenty of rest. Fend off loneliness. Watch out for anger and resentment. Be good to yourself. Look out for over-elation. Easy does it. Be grateful. Remember your last slip. Avoid all chemical mood changers. Eliminate self-pity. Seek professional help. Steer clear of emotional entanglements. Get out of the "if" trap (what if....., if only...). Be wary of drinking occasions. Let go of old ideas. Read the SLAA message. Go to SLAA meetings. Try the twelve steps. Find your own way. Replace old habits with new, sober habits. Keep an open mind. Use your common sense. Live in the NOW. Avoid major decisions in early sobriety. Try not to test your will power. Try to do a good mental house-cleaning. Salute the daily progress you make. Cherish your recovery. Develop the habit of gratitude. Suspend judgement of yourself and others. Look at your whole acting our record. Share your happiness. Avoid nostalgic sadness. Remember that sex and love addiction is cunning and baffling. Accept responsibility for your actions. Stay sober for yourself. Try not to place conditions on your sobriety. Respect the anonymity of others.
When all else fails, follow directions.

Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things i cannot change
the courage to change the things i can
and the wisdom to know the difference.
