I used to love hanging around people. But now i'm nervous around people. Now i even begin to avoid any social events. I want to get over my social anxiety. What should I do?

Feel the fear and do it any how. What happened to create the change? They say when you fall off the horse to get back on, so go out there, and share you with them, so what if they can't take a joke. Ususally if we do something there is a gain, so what is your gain, what are you not risking to stay home alone?

I've found that as I get older I don't like big crowds of people, but not really the people, just the fact that there are so many bodies in such little space. I think that's normal, think of it from an evolutionary perspective: it IS abnormal to have too many bodies in one area.

I would be concerned if you started having panic attacks.

Try to identify what occurance triggered the beginning of your anxiety.
