Snow started coming down a few hours ago. I almost feel sorry for all of those people going to the Eagles game tomorrow. Should be interesting.

I love the snow!!! I mis it so much being here in the Sunshine State. Please don't envy me here on that. Take your vacation to visit warm weather during the snowy months, but being raised in the Great Lakes region, I miss the snow! Must be in my Finnish blood. Can anyone describe what's going on in their areas? I can almost smell the cold crispness of the air biting at my nose.

We got a bunch of snow here in PA. The streets are a mess, but I don't have to go anywhere. I am just looking out the window and enjoying the view. Looking forward for the Steeler game tomorrow. I hope that they win.

Hey camer,
I been to Mass. once on business in summer. It is beautiful there. Some day I hope to get there again, this time as a tourist!

Jewel,

Staying warm and cozy inside? I f I had my wonderful cedar home to be in tonite, I'd put a log on the fire and rent a good movie! Here, white tile floors are so cold. My traditional blue and burgandy printed sofa and loveseat, just don't fit in well here, until I can afford carpeting. Keep warm! Too bad my Packers bummed out.

I love this!!!! Snow is the most awesome weather to have!

I am getting ready to go out on my cross country skis as the roads are a mess. It's coming down pretty good right now.

Silence, you must be pretty close by...do you listen to Preston and Steve in the AM? They did a contest this past week called kiss your sister for eagles tickets. Food for your stories????

Camer...waht is Massachusetts weather like most of the time? I love New England, but never been there!! Have some clients there, and when we are burning up here, he is usually telling me how beautiful it is. Have you lived there all of your life? I am in NV.

Its snowing like mad here in new york city. Its suppose to be 10-17 inches of snow.I like the snow, but i love warm weather.Otherwise,i don't like winter at all.Its always cold. And no matter how many sweaters or socks i put on,i still feel cold.I can agree with sewunique, that its best to travel to warm cities in the winter.I had done that in the year 2000.I had went to miami in february. It was heaven.

We have about 13 inches of snow here so far and lake effect snow is still commin down, not too bad Midwest weather! I love the snow until I have to drive in it! Or when it turns that ugly grey color from the dirt after a few days!

Gee...wish I could chime in about the snow...its warm and sunny here in So Cal. Was in a major blizzard in Turkey though in Nov- roads closed, big trucks run off the side of the road, bus got stuck. I don't mind visiting it but...

Hi All- the snow is so beautiful to look at. The children enjoy it most, sliding, making snow men, throwing snowballs etc. etc. Don't ask them to shovel though, that's a no no.

Here in NJ i think the last i heard is 18 inches or perhaps more.

Camer you are in Mass? Where abouts? My brother lives in West Boylston, anywhere near there. Its really pretty there, they get burried in snow.

Oh well lets try to make the best of this. I hope I don't overeat!!! I tend to do that in cold weather. Some homemade chicken soup sounds good doesn't it? I'll share with you all.

Love & Hugs
Alegab

6 inches of snow here, just got my period, have no tampons, and the store across the street is closed. I'm gonna try to dig out and get to a 7-11.

hi OMW, (re: your post about 10 posts up on this thread) Massachusetts weather is nice and yes, i have lived here all of my 39 years.

Summers are not as long as they used to be, usually it gets warm last week of June and summer goes till mid Sept..then cold and sometimes snowy in the winter...last winter only 3 snowstorms, this year this is our 3rd and will be the biggest..getting 2 to 3 feet of snow with windrifts from 4 to 6 FEET!!! yikes...the spring is nice too, but weather around here is so unpredicable. But i do like living here in MA, its nice.........thanks for asking!! (((camer)))

The only thing I want to see in the Steelers/Pats game is injuries. The Eagles have to win this year.

I thought I was the only Jersey person here. Cool.

And holy shit! Did that snow pile up fast, or what? All I can see out my window is a bunch of white lumps. I am not looking forward to digging out my car later.

I'm jealous....we need a good snowfall here in St. Louis...the most we've had is about 2-3 inches this winter. Not really enough to stick around for any length of time. Talked to my sister in MN and they had lots of it....no fair. Have another sister in WI and one in NY...they got snow too.

Well, on the bright side, we won't have days of school to make up. If we do, it'll be the shortest summer vacation in my 20 years of teaching....we start school again on August 16th. Yikes!

Y'all make a snowman for me. And BTW, now that the Rams choked (which we all expected) I don't really care. Just waiting for March Madness...college basketball has always been my favorite.
