Yes as long as you are not taking more than the recommended dosage on either one you can take both at the same time but I do that too, take one now and the other two hours later and alternate every two hours till the pain is gone. Also another thing that works great is Aleve but I dont think you can take it the same time as ibuprofen. But I think aleve works so well I dont usually need anything else when I take it.
I dont know anything about sleepwalking other than I have a daughter that does it and she seems wide awake when she does it and she is always doing it for a reason even if we cant figure that reason out. One time she walked into the living room and was talking to her dad. She kept calling him mommy and telling him that she couldnt find it mommy. He was like Becca mom is in the bathroom. So she walked down the hall came in the bathroom opened the closet shook hands with the towells and then walked back to her bedroom and crawled in bed. The next day she thought we were lying to her when we told her. I thought I would die laughing when she shook hands with the towells though.

Yeah, its strange, for a while I kept having nightmares that there was someone in the house and was standing over my bed. I am relatively sure that it is because of the fact that it is the first time in three years that I am living alone. Now that the nightmares are gone, the other night I woke up in the kitchen, then the bathroom and then last night under the coffee table and now my neck is killing me. I don't know what I can do about the sleepwalking but my bf called and suprised me with the idea that he had scheduled a massage for my neck. I am very glad cause I am in agony now.

loverbee,
If your nedk hurts that much, probably best to not stretch it. Good guideline is: if it hurts, stops doing it.
I would try some rest and anti-inflammatories. This sounds like an injury. I suppose a cold pack would help also to reduce the swelling too.
Take care. I've had something like this before. Not easy.

I don't think it is that bad an injury just a massive case of sleeping on it wrong. I have a massage scheduled tommorrow curtousy of the bf, and hopefully that will help. It is just very achy and stiff. And perhaps I am really cranky because of the uncomfort. I hope this heals soon. anyone know the reasons for sudden sleepwalking?

One time that happened to me, and it was a virus in my neck nerve.
Other times, it was a muscle. You may need a muscle relaxant. Sometimes, I used ben gay and a heating pad, alternated with ice.
Best to check with the doc. Can you straighten you neck or is your head tilted to one side? If you cannot straighten it, I would go to the doc ASAP. If you can, apply heat, ben gay, pain meds, and then if that doen;t work in a few days minimal, I would go to the doc.
Just mu two cents. Take it or leave it. But morst of all, FEEL BETTER!
Peace and Love!
