I took ativan and absolutely loved it. It was quite the happy pill for me ;). Others have said that it and wellbutrin have made them more anxious and depressed. You can just google any of them and you will see information and forums for people taking this medicine. For some people, it takes a while before they find a medication that matches them. Have you talked to you doctor?

I can't tell if it is helping or making it worse. because i am already depressed and anxious and there is plenty of things that could be the cause so its hard for me to tell.

when i did talk to him he just upped my dosage and was reluctant to change them because of the side effects of going on and off medicines.

Check the side effect of each and then check drug interactions. put in both meds. it shows a moderate drug-drug interaction. This could be your problem w/ them.

If you doc will not talk to you about this then you need to find a new doc. I have been on many meds for years. I put it between 2 doctors so they could keep each other in check. They did not.

YOU have to keep track of your health, which is looks like you are doing. Good for you. If you need more help let me know.

I've heard prescription drugs referred to as 'Harmaceuticals'. Much more appropriate, I'd say.

Aside from emergency life saving drugs &/or surgery, western medicine is largely a sham. What do doctors do basically? Give you drugs to mask symptoms but make you sicker in other ways or cut things out of you. What a farce! Only a small percentage of the available prescription drugs actually save lives. The rest mostly create high levels of toxicity in your body & brain causing a whole host of other problems & will flat out kill you! Prescription drugs are one of the leading causes of both disease & death in North America. This includes Ativa n & the like. Drug companies spend hundreds of millions lobbying to make their poisons legally available. If we were to try running a company that sold such harmful products, we'd find ourselves jailed in no time.

Naturopathic alternatives need to be readily available to the people, but of course, the pharmaceutical companies in conjunction with your FDA have made that difficult to impossible. Doctors can & have had their careers destroyed or have been imprisoned for sending people on the real path to recovery by disclosing natural cures or treatments that aren't FDA approved. Diet plays a key role in ones health, both physically & emotionally but, it's costly to eat all organic & tough to find everything you need or want. Even tap water is foul. It's take real dedication & effort to eat right. Sad but true.
