Hi,

I operate a website that provides help for people with anxiety disorders. I am not a doctor and do not have any training in couseling or psychology. I am concerned about advice that either myself or members of my group may give others. Is it legal to give people advice or discuss strategies that have worked for me? Where do I draw the line?

Thank you,
Chris Antonich

Diagnosing, is one of the big no, no's. We are pretty open here as you can see. Make the people aware that you are not a professional, but a survivor, or recovered, etc., but language your recommendations in that way, as long as you do not represent your self to be something that you are not, why not give advice, we do. Be consertative, and check the laws of your state, or country. Heck if they can have sites with kiddy porno, why not self help, makes you want to go hmmmmmmmmm.

chrisA, I am an anxiety sufferer and new to this sight. I came here looking for advice and have discovered how wonderful it is to know that I am not alone. My anxiety stems from an outside influence but seems to have increased to the point where it so unrealistic. This I have terrible trouble coping with and understanding. I would like to check out your site, what is it?
