I clicked on a website that lets you catch up on your old highschool buds. It simply came up on the computer after he was done using it. Low and behold his high school came up and I thought, oh what a coinsidence, he goes to that school. So a click here and a click there and poof his "up-to-date" message came up. It only read the first few words of the first sentence which read.."My wife and I have been married..." Then click to continue. He wrote.."for over a year. Her name is Gabriella (derived from the famous Gabriella Reese) and we've got a daughter named (our real daughter's name) born on (her real birthdate). We've also got a son (my husband's always talking about having a boy to name the 2nd). We met in law school (he got accepted to an ivy league school but opted not to go because we found out we were pregnant.)blah blah blah.
He is going on and on about part truths and part lies. I found it to be interesting because in his what I call fantasy-I'm not in it. After having given birth for 28 hours he doesn't even give me credit for having our daughter? What's that about?
I confronted him and he says...well it was just a joke. Everybody knew him as the class clown and they're going to read it and say "haha he's still a joker." But I question in what part of the message was the joke? I must've missed it?!
I feel like there's something behind it like it's his fantasy life or something and I don't know how to interpret it...if I want to interpret it.
I know he's not having an affair-he's too busy in sports to being caught up in anything physical! And I'm not being sarcastic. He's literally uninterested in sex. Which has been a problem for me for quite some time now. But my main beef with him is that he's always telling people petty lies. I mean no lies are petty when they hurt but just literally, stupid lies. He doesn't lie about where's he's been, who's he been out with, but he will about what time he crawled into bed or when so-in-so said this and I'll recognize it from a line in a movie! Is this what they call pathalogical liers?
Don't get me wrong I love my husband but sometimes I look at him with confusion and disbelief and wonder what the hell is going on in his nogen. He's a 35 year old (sometimes age IS just a number), smart (graduated cume lade and holds a couple b.a degrees), handsome, loving man and father but sometimes he reminds me of this kid who used to annoy me with his immature ways.
He knows how I feel but insists that I don't have a sense of humor. Believe me, I do have a sense of humor but what the hell is so funny about telling everybody you haven't heard from since back in '85 that your married to someone else with your baby!
Am I missing something here?

Seattle2,

It seems to me that he may have been joking. There are times in marriages however when problems arise. Talk to him,I'm sure he'll be willing to work through it with you.

well, i've seen and heard people call lines from movies - and even story lines from movies. In addition, they pull stories from books as well. I recognize the story after reading it and I think, "this person really has not life or is really bored with their own." Not really sure what to make of it myself.
