A few years ago, I was engaged to a young lady whom I loved very much. It crushed me to find that she was cheating. Then, she just walked out of my life and completely broke my heart. Now I've met another girl and we have been seeing eachother for a while. Now, we've been discussing marriage and I'm a little nervous. This is going to be my second time and I wanna make sure Im doing the right thing.

So, go slow, take it easy, give it time, let her prove her loyalty and worthy ness. Take a marriage class with her, discuss morals and values, goals and the future, understand where she is comming from and this may give you comfort. Not all of us are takers. Some of us give too.

I would just take things slow and go with the flow. There's no need to rush into marriage if you want to spend the rest of your life with her what's wrong with waiting till the moment is right

Hi, thanks for responding. That's the thing, we've taken it very slowly and after all the years we've been together, I know this is the right step and so does she. I'm just a little nervous at this point because it feels like, here I am again. After wondering for a loooooooong time would I ever get a second time around, I have. I hope that this one goes better than the first. My only question is if my nervousness is justifiable. We've discussed this and are planning to take some marriage classes at the church to strengthen our relationship.

Eddy

Life has no guarantees, there is no warranty. We have to take a chance and that is what life is about.

Well, here goes nothing wish me luck. I went with the lucky young lady yesterday to pick out an engagement ring. She showed me the one that she wants. I feel like this is the one. I've given much prayer and thought I hope it's right. I mean I have fallen in love and so has she and we've known eachother for the longest. Now, there's still that little fear b4 you get married. That is normal right?
