Hello SC,
I am sitting at a co-workers desk for a few days as they are redoing mine to bring it up to code. My question is that my password is stored and I don't know how to unstore it when I come to this site. I dont recall storin it in the first place. Do you know how I go about unstoring it and do you know what IM talking about?

I need help in doing this as I would not want anyone coming on here with my log in.

Thank You
Bel

Hey Bel, I'm not SC, but saw this and thought I might be able to help. If you are using Internet Explorer (IE), you may have told IE to remember usernames and passwords for you. The way to turn this off is to select Tools -> INternet Options. Click on the Content Tab. In the Personal Information box near the bottom of the window that appears, click on the Auto Complete button. You should see some options there that might help you out. They are most likely turned on, you can turn them off by de-selecting them.

Hope this helps.

Thank You Ginger but I don't have the content tab and other options are blocked out I guess by my employer.

Thanks for your help.
Bel

Ask your help desk to see how you can disable your browser from remembering passwords. You don't have to tell them where you are going, just ask them how to do it. They can probably walk you through it following company policy 🙂

Hi Bel! Glad to see you.

GL gave the best advice, but if you're still out of luck, you can try this.

First, get to the "Windows" folder on your hard-drive either through Windows Explorer, or through My Computer.

Inside the Windows Folder, is a folder called, "Temporary Internet Files", and inside that folder should be a folder called, "Content IE"... open that up, and delete all of the contents.

Hope it works for you.

Wish you all a great weekend.
