I am always putting others first like today i bought my mother inlaw some grocerys instead of buying myself some much needed orajel for my killer toothache. But i am always doing stuff like that. I have done that since i was a child i remember not eating for 2 days when i was 11 and finaly saved enough money to get my self 2 hamburgers from bobs. And my ex step father had a pregnet druggy over at the house and she was hungry so i gave them to her. I was 11 i weighed 105 and i was 5' 9 i needed the food but i thought she needed it more i just dont know how to do things for myself cause if i see that someone else needs it more than me or wants it more than me i get it for them and not myself. How do i put myself first or should I?

You have a really big heart. If more folks need to have half the compassion you have then the world would be a better place.

I think it's good to be a giver to a point. Maybe a compromise. Get yourself the orjel and w/ what's left get the groceries. Get the hamburgers and share instead of giving all. You can still give and take care of yourself.

How? hmmm. I'm having a problem w/ telling you how coz I am guilty of the same you are doing. I guess just like I said above, and I should take my own advice. Take care of yourself first or there won't be anyone like you to help the needing. Compromise so that you are also taken care of.

There are so many selfish in this world that if you don't look out for yourself then they will devour you w/ their needs, etc. I'm not saying not to be a giver coz some are destined to be givers and that's an admirable position and talent to have. Thanks for having a good heart.
