Hi RW,

I haven't seen you on these boards for a while. I don't go to too many threads, but I use to catch glimpses of you every once in a while.

How are the boys doing?

Thanks for asking about me. My 3 boys and my husband are sick again. I am taking my boys to the doctors today. My sis in law has been staying with me to help me out for a while. She has been getting up with them in the morning. All three of my boys have runny noses fevers and bad bad coughs. I cant wait until they feel better again. Please just keep us in your prayers (((Armyleo)))) ((((Jewel))))

Well it turns out that all 3 of my boys have left ear infections and my 4 year old has the beginnings of bronchitis and my 3 month old has full blown bronchitis. I am going to head to the store now to pick up prescriptions.

Awwwww, I feel so bad that you are going through this with everyone being sick. I wish I could give you a hand. You are such a good mother taking care of all your kids. It is a lot of work and I give you a lot of credit for it. I hope you don't get sick too. I hope everyone gets better soon and you are on the boards more often. You are greatly missed. By the way, how is your bipolar going? Are you still on meds for that? I am slowly trying to get myself off of mine and start over with a different treatment plan. My meds were making me worse.

The good news is...that with all of the children on antibiotics at the same time, the risk of re-infection is slimmer.

It won't be a case of one having it, getting better, but passing it to the other as he heals, the other one gets it.

Just make sure you and your husband are vigilant about your own health...so that you don't re-infect them once they are off the antibiotics...it's better to all be on meds at the same time.

It's so hard with little ones...especially toddlers and babies...they put everything into their mouths...have no regard for what they touch...or covering their mouths when they cough or sneeze....or washing hands to help prevent spread of germs.

Do the best you can.

and another thing...not sure of your weather....but taking them outside to get some fresh air will be good...get them out of the germs floating around in the home...and fresh air is good for the lungs....just dress them appropriately.

When I was a baby with bronchitis...my mom used to take me outside when I got wheezing...cuz the stuffy air inside only made things worse.

make sure you get your own rest and take care of you...and get lots of vitamin C in you...keep away the germs.
