Another thread brought to mind some of my all time favorites quotes and instead of taking over that thread by wanting to share these, thought I put them on their own thread....

As soon as the love relationship does not lead me to me, As soon as I, in a love relationship, do not lead the other person to their self, this love, even if it seems to be the most secure and ecstatic attachment I have ever experienced, is not true love. ~ Leo Buscaglia

The ability to hope, certainly, is one of the greatest lifesaving phenomena of man. In hope, man shows a deep respect and faith in man’s ability to change, a belief in the “integrity of the universe,” in new beginnings, in exciting tomorrows. ~ Leo Buscaglia

Change is the end result of all true learning. ~ Leo Buscaglia

I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things... I play with leaves. I skip down the street and run against the wind. ~
Leo Buscaglia

Love always creates, it never destroys. In this lie's man's only promise. ~ Leo Buscaglia

Love is always bestowed as a gift - freely, willingly and without expectation. We don't love to be loved; we love to love.
~ Leo Buscaglia

Only when we give joyfully, without hesitation or thought of gain, can we truly know what love means.
~ Leo Buscaglia

A few end of the day questions ~ Leo Buscaglia

Is anyone a little happier because I came along today? Did I leave any concrete evidence of my kindness, any sign of my love?
Did I try to think of someone I know in a more positive light? Did I help someone to feel joy, to laugh, or at least, to smile?
Have I attempted to remove a little of the rust that is corroding my relationships?
Have I gone through the day without fretting over what I don’t have and celebrating the things I do have? Have I forgiven others for being less than perfect? Have I forgiven myself? Have I learned something new about life, living, or love?

Here's where I am a little confused..............it's all fne and dandy to be excited about seeing someone else come across your particular line of happiness.

The butterflies fly happier, hummingbirds hum louder etc.....

But where is the reality?

Life is NOT all about free-flying birds and insects.

Let's get real!!!!!!

Nice sentiment.

I wasn't born yesterday - and hopefully - neither were you!!!!

So, let's just ALL get real??????

Don’t let ones negativity hinder your happiness or positive attitude.

I am very grateful for the words of wisdom you have left for me to read today, they have actually lifted my spirit drastically and have given me hope to love unconditionally.

Thank you so much!
