Well. Everyone must be having a life, that is great!! I think I am the only one on tonight, but before I sign off...touche! to everyone, no one is on here with a crisis to night, or with a problem that I can see. I gues that is a good thing. So since I feel like I am talking to myself,,,,good nite. 10:00 pm on the west coast.

OMW....well, I'd like to say I was not having a crisis...it's only 12:14 p.m. here in the midwest, and STBX hasn't finished harrassing me this week, I'm sure. But I vented all of that on another thread, and am vowing to not let it ruin my weekend.

Hey AW, what the heck is wrong with old and achy? At least we know we're alive, right?!

33!!! Wait til you hit 40! I'll be 40 years young in 8 months! (actually I will be having the 12th aniversary of my 28th birthday! Thats what I tell people.)

I feel pretty good physically. I try to take care of myself but sometimes my mental state makes me sick phyically.

Hey AW, I'll trade ya, your 33 for my almost 40!

I'll trade with all of you! I'll be 51 this month. YIKES!!!!!

Fortunately I've inherited my mother's "Young" genes.....I don't look my age and people are always surprised to find out how old I am.

But of course, looking younger doesn't give you a reprieve from perimenopause (especially hot flashes), bouts of osteoarthritis in the fingers - but overall thank god I seem to be pretty healthy. I have definitely been concentrating on eating properly and walking every day. On rainy days I plug in a Yoga tape and at least do that. Can't hurt šŸ™‚

Hope everyone has a great day!

P.S. This is off the subject, but for those of you who have read my sorry-ass threads - It's been 11 days since I have heard from the jerk and I'm still alive and breathing --- Good for me!!!! LOL

Hey, all...here's to "Oil of Old Age" I'll be 42 next month, but the way I look at it, if I play my cards right, I'm only half way done with my life! Lots more to look forward to.

Hurts...WTG for no contact for 11 days. It gets easier every day, doesn't it...

readyforachange,

You are absolutely correct. We still have wonderful years ahead of us. Age is all in the mind. I don't feel like 50, I probably don't act like 50 according to some folks lol, and I'm sure as hell not going to stop having fun!

As far as I'm concerned this is the best part of life....kids are grown, and you have more free time to do what you want. Embrace it! šŸ™‚

Oh my, Oh my. Ya'll are such whiners. (kiddin) You are only as old as you choose to feel. That's what my mom says and she's 71. But I do understand that 80 yr old feeling too. (I'm 45)

well, dancing around like an uninhibited kid helps me feel better/younger and happier, So thats why I keep mentioning it on peoples posts... It helps, and people seem to choke whe nthey find out my age... they say I look like a kid... could be the overalls amd pigtails tho??? HA Ha, or the Oil of olay Ive been using for years... but I think it's my refusing to "feel old" even though my health tries to defy my mind.. more and more frequently šŸ™‚

Can I tell a stupid story now? AW reminded me of a couple years ago my oldest daughter was living in part of our building. We made her an apartment of her own. One day the sink sprung a leak and she came runnin in the house frantic. I walked out w/ her and saw the standing water and decided to river dance there in the standing water. Oh she was so unhappy w/ me. lol.

I just had to tell that coz AW made me remember and laugh. Oh, she refused to join me. Dang! Her loss.

Hey Hurts - 11 days - good for you! I'm glad for you. I'm on Day -- geez, I even forget - let me count - 17 or 18 now. Stupid ass doesn't have the balls to call me. Oh, well, it does get a little better. I still am not healed, but I'm trying as hard as I can. I'm still very very hurt tho. We always take it personally when they don't attempt to call us, don't we? And I don't know why in the hell we should. Oh, I don't want to talk about it.

Good for you, tho. To hell with the jerks.
