One of my 18 year old twins is having her tonsils out, today. I have heard that it's a little more risky with a grown child than a toddler. And to be honest, I'm a little nervous about this. So just remember us today, if you will.

Thankyou!!

Jen

And Mama, I've been praying for Jigs, as well! Please give her a BIG hug, and tell her she is loved! And hugs to YOU, too! (((MAMA)))

Hey Jen, My prayers are being said for your daughter. I know that no matter what age this child was, its your child. Yes, it is more painful as an adult. So get the ice cream ready. More like pain killers, at this age. While you are at it, take a valium for yourself.

So I'm off! I'll be back later. Thanks again for the prayers!!

Thank you, Jas!! Yes, it sure is a nerve racker!!

Well, we are home, now. She did good. But she just looks so miserable. You can see the pain in her face, when she tries to talk, or swallow. I'm just glad it's over with. I had mine out when I was 2 and a half. They say that little children bounce back alot quicker.

Anyway, thanks for the prayers for today! They always help!

Jenni,

I'm a bit late but glad to hear that everything went well with your daughter.

I wish her a speedy recovery.

Thanks, Ras and Lolli!! Her boyfriend is here, and has been with us all day. This seems to have some kind of magical effect for her. So we'll see how it goes, once he leaves.

Thank you, again! It means a bunch to me!!

(((jenni))) Prayers for you and your daughter! Glad she came through the surgery well, and is home.

My son had his 4 wisdom teeth removed today, and he did pretty well. Until the anesthetic wore off. He was then a horrible nightmare for about 2 hours, until his friend came over to sit with him. Now he's surrounded by friends, and I haven't heard a word of complaint from him. I'm dreading when they leave....

Hope she feels better soon!

Oh, Ready! I'm sorry about what your son is going thru! Both of my twins had their four wisdom teeth pulled, on the same day!! What a nightmare that was! They BOTH reminded me so much, of when they were very little, when one would cry, so would the other!

You and your son are in my prayers, too, for a speedy recovery! I know how miserable that is! And thankyou for your prayers, as well!

Ready -- prayers for your son too. How miserable. I had my wisdom teeth out 2 at a time. I still remember the pain and swelling

Jen

I had my tonsils out when I was 19..oh my gosh..it was VERY PAINFUL!! It took me 10 days to feel even a little better. I've heard everyone recovers differently...has a different pain level. A girlfriend of mine had hers taken out about the same age..she was back at school, after a weekend.

I hope she is feeling better....soon.

Love Soul

Thanks, Soul and Smart. Well, her BF just left. He really was helpful. He had her schedule down, for her medicine, and told me before he left, what time her next dose was due.

But she's up and walking around. So I think she's doing a little better.

Thanks everyone, for all of the prayers! They truly help!!

Jen
