Damn! 1:30 already?

I can't stay up really late tonight. I actually have obligations tomorrow morning, imagine that.

I'm gonna call it a night Gupster. Have a good night, I'll talk to you soon.

my day is fixing to take a turn for the worse. i told my h no to something he requested. now he is storming in and out of the house. my heart if flipping. have the urge to get in my auto and leave. BUT i am not gonna leave. i am gonna sit here and try and be calm and let him be pissed without me feeling like i have to fix it or make up for it. god, give me strength, courage and a little bit of wisdom. it's interesting that this jerk can't take a no from me, but he can sure dish em out with no problem. for twenty something years i have basically took care of house, kids, bills, the business. i am tired. basically shot out. now he all of a sudden wants to do all this business stuff and i am like , whatever, he can make a call just as easily as i can. we are at diff. points in our life. i have raised a family the best i could by myself and now i am looking forward to a simpler life. he partied for years with no responsibility and now he wants to work like a dog and try and make up for his heavy drinking years. good for him, as long as it doesn't involve me. the problem is he is not listening to me. i am not interested in helping him make up for the party days. i dont want to prop him up anymore. feel more like slinking off. anybody here know anything about nebraska. have rn liscense. dusty guppy has no guts right now.i am setting boundries but it's a little fence and it's got a raging spoiled brat on the other side. sigh........

I picture you swimming in your fishbowl, and all I want to do is scoop you out and hurl you into a big pond. It's amazing how you can live with someone for over 20 years and grow in opposite directions.

Honestly, I'd stay there, NOT get in your car and drive.... and wait for him to quit throwing his fit. Leaving would give him one more reason to stay pissed, and why make it worse. Are you really upset about his being mad, or is it just irritating?

Hey Shaney, i was just venting. BUT he does bother me a great deal when he is mad because he can be ugly. instead of stating what he is mad at, he goes for the throat so to speak. i got off lucky tonight , because he just went to bed and never said a word to me, he is pouting. he is really gonna flip in the morning though, because i tried to update accounts so i could process his payroll and it errored on me, so i have to call them in the morning to get it fixed. he wont have the checks sitting on the desk when he gets up like he likes....oh well. the picture of u throwing me in a pond made me laugh. thanks alot.

Nothing is too good for our mafia's finest dust guppy.

Yeah, I understand all about getting your head bit off - it just happened to me on the way home from work, because I happened to be surprised at how much a set of tires were going to be for my scallion-mobile. My bf basically flipped out and said that if I can do any better, then do it myself. Nice.

Hopefully your h will calm down by tomorrow and not get wound up because the checks aren't on his desk. God, there are worst things that could be wrong, right? I hate to see people flip out over nothing. You need to slip him some of philmore's scallion-laced dope - that ought to calm him down. Your h needs a mafia name - Randy the Razor, or Randy Rag-on-Lost, Randy the Guppy Eater

he calls me all the time and asked me to do stuff for him but i am not allowed to call him during the day. he said if i do, then he will lie to me about where he is. well....about a month now, i just dont answer the phone anymore. dont care. we have cell phones, he will not answer if i call. but he demands that i answer when he wants something. most of the time i feel like he is just checking up on me. we fussed about this issue along time but it just ended for me when he said he lied to me. the brat is not used to not getting his way. it surprises me that i just dont care.i dont think he realizes yet that this is a one way street i am traveling now. the phone prob. is resolved permanently for me.

It's amazing how many issues are one-sided. It frustrates the hell out of me. Just wait until he realizes that you just don't care - that's when he'll change his tune. It's usually too late by then - they've lost all of our respect by then. I've seen it happen a million times.

This is too familiar. I used to put the dresser in fromt of the door to keep her out. I feel like such a chump looking back on it. How long have spent wishing she were still around, after having pushed her away?

Duh!

It still kills me that I never saw it coming.

How do you put up with this for 20 years?

Understood.

What happens when they are out of the house? (Or is it like my buddy V, who still lives at Mom's, at age 30?) 😀
