Please help any suggestions or support would help. I lost a child who was the son of my boyfriend. He was only sixteen. I've also lost my job and am being stressed big time financially. I feel like my life is out of control and that I'm the biggest loser that ever walked the face of the earth. thanks for responding if you do.

First off, you are NOT the biggest loser that ever walked the face of the earth. You lost a child. You lost your job. Both of these things are extremely stressful and AWFUL, BY THEMSELVES, and unfortunately these things sometimes happen to kind, loving, generous, *non-loser* people (no matter how much we wish that it weren't so).

First step to gaining control is recognizing that you feel like you don't have it anymore. You are going to be OK.

Now, take a deep breath. Talk it out. What's going on? (If you aren't comfortable posting here, write to yourself, talk to God, and get it out where you can look at it.)

Gotta change that label. Things happen, good, as well as bad, you have just had well more than a fair share. Spill your guts here, there are so many good women, there is a circle of comfort here. I don't know how any one can cope with the loss of a child, and the loss of a job, wow, what a pile of pain. So, what are you doing about it? Get the pain out here on line, just let your fingers on the keys fly, we are here for you.

My heart goes out to you!! I cannot imagine what you must be feeling. How long ago did this happen? Have you been through any grief counseling? If not, there are many sources available. I've had many years of experience dealing with families grieving over the loss of loved ones. I highly suggest you ask yourself where you draw your source of strength and turn to that source. Perhaps it is a family member, friend, or God.

I'm sorry you lost your job as well. Your emotional well-being needs immediate attention before the worry of finances.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

And not just grief counseling for the loss of a child...also for the loss of a child.

Those types of losses affect all of us differently but effect us they do!!!!!

Hang in there and take a day at a time.

YOU are not a loser...this is just a bad spot right now
