Ourselves, an ocean.
Deep, dark, and cold at the heart.
Ourselves, a star.
White hot, bright, and molten at the core.

The mystery presented
At the moment of birth,
Forever to be explored.

A sea of possibility
A universe of hope
The gift of existence...
Ourselves.

Is that original or did you find it somewhere?

Ever notice how beautiful the steel gray sky is at dusk with the trees silloutted in black against the sky?

YEAH - rock on - hb

Hb - I made it up.

Yeah, I have definitely noticed that. And the way the trees are just kind of there, as if they hold more wisdom than you'll ever know.

Experienced that feeling a lot when I lived in the Midwest...now that I'm in Phoenix, we only have palm trees, which are rather silly.

;o)

OH YES - if the things we see in nature, and even old buildings could speak, we would know so much more now than we do! Is your area beautiful?

We have a lot of oaks, pines, and magnolias, but we also have a lot of pretty sunsets, sunrises, and just like in your area, the moon rises and falls, waxes and wanes. I enjoy seeing the stars at night, and love thunderstorms, and wind, and cold, and heat, and flowers, and birds, BUT BEST OF ALL I LOVE THE MOON....Full moon soon.....9/18/05.

I do not want to violate anything in this web site with a personal conversation. I sense that you are a very naturalistic person. I hope we get some others to join this discussion. I know this subject isn't what this site was designed for. But isn't appreciation of nature part of therapy for all of us?

Sorry, drank a bunch of wine last night and didn't want to P.U.I (posting under the influence).

Up early, and checking out said nature now. Yes, this area is very beautiful, surrounded by moutains, palm trees, cacti, etc. that's basically why ex-hubby and I moved here...can't say much for the populous, though - lots of crime, bars everywhere, rampant drugs (I think we're the meth capital of the U.S. right now, and yeah, I've had my problems with that but am now clean...)

The sun's up, the sky is an incredible azure blue, and I am looking forward to a happy day..hope you are too, and everybody out there!

HOLLY BERRY, you've got that right! Appreciation of nature is not only a part of the therapy, but necesary to keep the soul sound and healthy at all times.

How about the huge snowflakes falling straight down on the ground when there is no wind? Or fluffy snow in the moonlight?

Hmm, never thought about the palm trees as silly... 🙂
