YUMMY, Bonni!! Thank you, friend!!

Loverbee, I'm so glad you joined us! Sometimes, it's nice to have a mental vacation away from real life.

Incase you haven't noticed, I'm a dreamer! BIGTIME! So since my imagination tends to run wild at times, I find it's better when I put it to good use, rather than drive myself crazy! LOL!

I've found my imagination is much more fun than it was while I was still in my previous relationship. I wasn't always have "good thoughts"! LOL! But it wasn't all bad, either. He will always be my friend.

Life moves forward and there's ALWAYS a new adventure around the corner if we keep our eyes and minds open to new things!

I'll be there in the morning guys...I forgot my lap top and had to go back and get it. I have always wanted to write in the mountains (I think in the mountains anyway) but got thinking it would be a great quiet place to write. Don't mind me if I'm not to social this weekend...I'll just be relaxing, dreaming, reading, and writing...

I want eggs for breakfast and meat and fish and french bread for my supper.

I'll bring the food and cook it. But if we have to live on protein bars, no can do.

i hope is OK for a very late check in! i would like to book a massage, facial, manicure and pedicure and a crying session in the white room...have you check it out.

It's all white but warm, surrounded by windows with very long organza curtains, there is a big shaggy carpet and lots of cushions and comfortable chairs and sofas and lots and lots of kleenex. you can play your own music and cry or laugh or meditate or just be with yourself. I want to use it for crying.

and for breakfast, a BIG bowl of grapes, i love grapes.

IS THERE SNOW??!!!

If there is I am SO there. I'll pack up the snowshoes and gear in the truck and I'm on my way!

I never get enough snow here in MD. If I lived in western MD I'd see more of it, but I don't.

I miss snow. 🙁

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever had a slush puppie? I had a cabin growing up and right down the road was a slush puppie hut. They were rediculously fun to take to the drive in and sip by the beach at night.

Dern it – I had to turn around again and get my MP3 player! Am I ever going to get there???!!!..... I just can't go anywhere without my music – just like Jen and Buck-wouldn’t be the same experience : ) I’ll keep it low key while everyone is relaxing... don’t mind me in between my relaxing reading, writing, if you see me off in my own little world in my head…and if I start to sing out loud- PLEASE don’t be embarrassed to tell me-I sound just awful without any back ground music!!

I can see clearly now the rain is gone….....I can see all obstacles in my way….......Gone are the dark clouds that had me down…It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day ..........It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day

I can make it now the pain is gone….......All of the bad feelings have disappeared…........Here is that rainbow I've been praying for…It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day

Look all around, there's nothing but blue skiiieeeees…........Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skiiiiiiiiisssse

I can see clearly now the rain is gone….........I can see all obstacles in my way…........Gone are the dark clouds that had me down…......It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day......It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day…

Hey girls, just flew in this a.m., but trying to find this cabin. Jen, can you and Buck come find me? I am lost. Remember, not ready to ride a horse alone. I heard LL's song and it led me to you guys. I am not gonna get wild this weekend, but could sure use some friends, hot chocolate, fireplace, and hugs (okay, if I allow it) This Montana retreat is just what I needed. Jen, where are you? LL, sing, and I maybe able to find you guys.

Gosh, I am going to need some apparel for this weekend. All I have is a light jacket from where I come from.

Dear Jen,

I have resisted your cheeriness many times. I think I finally can appreciate it and can let go.

(My worst nightmare bore this name Jennifer -- she was genuinely evil).

So how ironic that you show up on these threads with your incorrigible effervescence and lightly peck away at my resistance until I finally have to laugh and join in.

Usually I would bring food -- in this case maybe lasagne, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and lots of exotic green salads with my homemade dressings -- maybe the spinach with freshly cooked, peeled and still warm beets, with walnuts, shallots and raspberry vinaigrette dressing.

I'd like to just have someone pack up a small bag, magically knowing what if any needs I might have in the course of the weekend. Yes, this is my fantasy.

Lots of love, appreciation, laughter.

Thanks, Jen. I like that everyone is invited. It used to feel like you were trying to start these little exclusive scenarios and because I felt so depressed I could not go there. When people feel that badly, imagination and creativity do not kick in.

So thanks. I strongly sugggest people come along and leave most everything back home. Because this resort will provide everything you need.

Hey Jen, think we found someone else that can cook; it is Brynnie! Jen, LL, and I can't ever go on a trip alone if cooking is a necessity...We would starve!!! Found that at on the beach...

Brynnie, understand what you were saying...Some trips I didn't participate and some I had to drop out of doing to what was going on in my mind and I didn't want to be a "party pooper". It is an ongoing invititation and it is such a great release to be silly, smart alec, etc. I love it especially when LL gives me a hard time, but don't tell her.

if you allow it, GG, ya right!

((((((( GG )))))))

And I suppose you also have your capris and sandles with ya too!

And Brynnie- welcome aboard one of Jen's trips. Jenni's heart is not exclusive by any means : ) ...her trips are meant for everyone!! Yeah, my first Jen trip (out to the wild west) I was miserably depressed and didn't think I'd be wanted to bring my misery with, but it didn't take too long when Jen handed me a gun and I started hunting down the man who broke my heart, and by the time the trip was over, I had never laughed so much - in such a long time. It really lifted my spirits...Since then I never miss one of her trips!!

And anyone reading who wants to head up to the cabin with the AAC group - join on in w/o reservation. There are no rules here or expectations - we each make it what we want it to be. Now with that I'd better pick up speed here and get there before the weekend is over!! My eggs are going to be cold : )

GG,

long johns, gloves, scarves, earmuffs, hats, headbands, boots, wool socks, SNOW PANTS...The cold where you come from, is NOTHING. When you live where it gets REAL cold, zero degrees, windchills well into the negatives, water pipe freezing temps, you learn.... :0)

if you're out too long, every thing freezes, the kids think it is great...BUT I HATE IT. I hate the cold. Snow is beautiful, but it is SOO cold. I like it cold at night and HOT during the day...

WOW, what a great way to wake up! To all my friends and new family making this the best trip yet!

Brynnie, I'm so happy you decided to break your resistance and join us! I want you to know that these trips are welcome to EVERYONE, ANYTIME! 😉

It may help you to know that Jennifer is only my middle name. So just for you, I'm going to reveal my family nickname in real life. Ok, here goes....(deep breath, here...)

It's Annie! (short for a different name). And for fun, many of my family members and friends call me "ANNIE FANNIE"! My nephews call me "Auntie Annie". And I expect someday, I'll be "Granny Annie". (Not too soon, I hope!) As long as it doesn't become "Granny Annie Fannie"!! LOL!

So there it is. I know how it is to associate a name with an experience. So I only hope that "Annie" isn't a bad memory for someone out there!

Worried Dad, I'm so glad you are here, too! There will be NO protein bars allowed on this trip. Only fatty foods with high carbs and calories! LOL! Welcome!!

Ok, one more thing here. Tonight is the scheduled night that my daughter plans to move away. She's taking a bus far away. She was suppose to leave this time last week, but it got delayed. I had prayed that if it wasn't God's will, to please stop it. So He did, but she is determined to do this. But now, it has finally hit her twin sister. And she is a mess, and I'll need some prayers for her, too.

Today will be an emotional day, so I will be in and out of here today. But this place is the PERFECT place to escape to when I am able to.

So carry on and have a GREAT time! I'll check in, in a while! Thanks to everyone who has decided to come! The more the merrier!! I'm happy to share my imagination with anyone who is interested in finding that temporary escape from the real world!

(((HUGS)))

Jen (Annie Fannie)

Annie, only reminds me of two things...Annie, the movie..."the sun will come out tomorrow" and Annie pretzels in the mall. Both, good things,,,just like you jen...I will pray for you today, because it will be hard...escape back to the cabin whenever you need to...I am just sitting on the porch taking in the beautiful scenery with hot chocolate...Getting ready to check out the hot tub though...Take care, jen or anniejen!

Hey everyone, got lost somewhere in the mountains but glad I finally made it to this wonderful cabin. Shaking off the snow, and settling in the comfy chair. Anyone have any hot coffee?
