Hi I'm new and have never done this before. My situation is very similar to MJ's except I've been married for 19 years and have 3 sons. Would someone please explain to me what was meant earlier about getting rid of the fear so you can think clear...I don't seem to be able to figure that out. Thanks!

(((Seeking))) I can tell whats to have fear... Im afraid of living basically. I suffer from depression´, and its hard to know whether my negative thinking comes out of my fear or vice versa. Its like what came first, the egg or the chicken. The point is this fear leads me to expect all possible things that can go wrong, total Murphy´s Law. It then drains my energy to a point that is paralysing, and Im left like a leaf in the wind, many times a windstorm, unable to act and even getting sick out of anxiety. Ive been trying to understand my fears, as in name it to tame it. However, over analysing, rationalizing, doing cognitive therapy, analysis oriented therapy, etc. have helped less than previously following a codependents 12 step program and going to church/singing-praising group. So Im trying to combine therapy and medication with those spiritual programs again. I need to accept I can´t have everything under control, and need the help of a higher power. I may not find out soon what Im afraid of so that my thinking is not so fogged in the hypervigilance mode but perhaps Ill have more of a balance between good and bad thoughts (negative, self defeating, rationalizing, distorted thoughts) and a healthier living. Perhaps then Ill little or no fear. Hope this helps.
