Hello,
After many years of denying this, I finally just embraced the fact the I am co-dependant.
I have avoided all suggestions of this for so long which now I see should have been a red flag.
Now I would like to read about it more and talk to people about it- I just don't know where to start, so could someone give me a heads up? I looked at Coda.org and I have no meeting sites even remotely near me, Is there some online meetings some where? What would be the first book you would reccomend?

Welcome! Keep posting here...it will help!

For books...Codependant no more by Melody Beattie. It was like reading my life story for me...and it was great when I realized "hey...there is a REASON for all of this!!"

I also like "The Language of Letting Go" (daily meditations- same author)

Don't know about online meetings, but I love it here! Hope you keep coming back!

peace
kc

HI, log onto http://WWW.CODA.ORG for local
listing of codependent meetings, they are soooo good to go to and you can learn so much from hearing others stories and sharing your own.
