This is the first year I am doing resolutions in a long long time. Maybe I fweel strong enough to accomplish them this time!

1-quit smoking

2-get back into an exercise routine

3-focus on my own health

Not too much but just enough to be real.

hey workinonit, that is exactly the things that i am working on. i had quit for about a year and started back about three weeks ago, so i have to get geared back up to quit. i think i mentioned i hurt my knee so i haven't been able to jog so that hinders me as far as quitting, it takes the place of smoking. so my plans are to quit again when my knee gets better. good luck to ya..

My #1 resolution? Stop being such a doormat! Stand up for myself, and stop settling for something/someone that isn't making me happy or makes me feel bad.

Other than that, just to have a great year. I think I need a hobby....any suggestions?

Be determined to see how much money I can put aside and save this year for my own feeling of security.

Basketcase, what do you like to do? Paint, sketch, write, sew, crafts, tennis, photography, yoga, play guitar, violin, piano, birdwatch, read, antiquing, or what else?

Remember! The sky is the limit!

Actually, I like to write. I used to write children's stories, and my mom is pushing me to start it up again. I used to have some really cute ideas. I guess that is a new years resolution!

Also, I'm really gonna focus on the positive in my life this year. And get back in that exercise mode!!!!!!

Oh my.... Creating New Year's Resolutions has been a deep personal tradition of mine for most of a century. New Years is my time of hybernation, introspection, warm soups, and late morning arisals (when I am able to do this!) I have done some truly amazing things with those promises to myself. I forget what I promise myself, then I live my life, read my old diaries, and my mouth hangs open in awe.

In 2005, I am gracefully reducing my professional obligations...and without telling anyone that I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia at an advanced stage and at an advanced time of my life. I have been so fortunate in my life. In fact, my life after age 20 has been MOST fabulous. I had love for most all of that time.

I look forward to seeing My Harry again.
