Hi, I have just started a 6 week course of therapy for my long term depression. I am unsure what sort of things I ahould be bringing to the sessions . In the first one we discussed my childhood (I'm 55 now) and although i got a little emotional during the session it resulted in my feeling energised and positive which lasted right up till the 2nd session. 2nd session we started discussing more recent events (from 2000) which had been a really bad year for me and this time I became so emotional that I was unable to speak to answer my counsellors question. The session overan as she did not want to leave me in that state (bless her) but although I was calm on leaving the office I have felt terrible since. I would appreciate any insights on how to proceed in session 3.
