Hello all. When I talked to R last night I told him I had made the appointment with the therapist for August 16 at 6 pm. He said that was too soon, he had to get the house finished. I told him we would ride it out and if closer to time we had to reschedule we would. We made tentative plans today. I texted him at 11 telling him I had my day planned and needed to see where he fit in. He called me back saying he was really tired and was still in bed. This is not unuasual as he works in the heat until he can have the AC turned on in a house. It takes its toll on his body and sometimes he collapses and stays in bed for a day off. Anyway he told me to do the things I had to do, he was staying where he was an to call him when I finished up. I did call, even though I know I have said I wouldn't. He asked that I call when I finished my errands and such. Anyway. He didn't answer and hasn't called me back. I talked to another friend earlier who knows him and the whole situation. She said when she and her husband decide what they are doing for dinner tonight she will give me a call and see if I am free. Should I just go up to their house even if R calls just to show him I am not at his beck and call or is this too "gamelike". I am not good at games.

Since I am spilling my beans about my every move. My friend called back and said she and her husband had worked in the yard all day and were tired (the buried their dog and planted a tree over her). R did call and we made plans to cook at his house. (C went to SC for class reunion). When I got there I told him I was a little nervous being there. This was the first time I had "really" been there in a month. It was like a first date or something. He was having problems with a set of house plans and I had to tell him not to get pissy with me it wasn't my fault. He got better, even stopped what he was doing and walked over to kiss me. By mutual agreement we did not talk about "issues" last night. We just enjoyed cooking shrimp scampi and having dinner. I had a bottle of really nice wine in his cooler I had bought over a year ago. I opened it. It tasted AWFULL. So the shrimp got cooked with a $30 bottle of wine and we drank a $6 bottle that tasted much better:) At one point I started to fold some towels, while he was peeling the shrimp. He asked me to stop and go put them on his bed for him to deal with later. I said it's OK gives me something to do (still really nervous at this point). He said no, this is a date, I don't want to see you folding my towels.
