Alex, my 5 year old who has been rectally bleeding is complaining of stomach pain, and has not been able to poop in 5 days...And is now refusing to eat anything..

Arica, my 9 year old, with all of the brain issues, has been running a fever of 103 since Wednesday night. It will come down with advil but it goes right back up. She is complaining of her throat, her head, and when they left she was fire negine red and could not walk...

Please pray for them. I cannot handle this right now, so my h took them.

Thank you...

Mich -

My guess is that your daughter has a viral infection...I am not sure what could be happening with your son. Please keep us posted.

Both are home...Arica has bronchitis, on the virge of pneumonia, they gave her a breathing treatment there, and put her on antibiotics, and a steroid...

Alex is literally full of shit. We think what has happened is that he is stopping himself from pooping because of the blood..They gave him several laxatives..and expect to have a crappy couple of days...

Thanks for all of your prayers and love and concern

(((scared))) I'm glad you have some answers...both conditions are treatable, but not much fun. Hang in there! I'll keep you all in my prayers!

RW,

He is five and completely potty trained...but we still haven't been able to get him to poop. This isn't going to go well. If he doesn't start soon, he will have to be hospitalized...

Mich- glad to hear that your babies are home with you. And hope that they both get back to feeling better soon. {Wrapping them both up in the comfy afghan of love from their cyber aunties and holding them both close to my heart.}

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but did your 5 yrs old doctor say anything about the rectal bleeding previously to going in last night? Is it believed to be directly related to not *pooping*? Poor little guy. And poor mama too- oh the stress of motherhood. We hurt when our babies hurt.

Please give updates as you know and as they both get better. And give them both a hug from Auntie LL : )

As a mother, i feel for you, i remember the fear of not being able to help them. Helpless. Damm if you do, damm if you dont. God bless you honey and yours. Prayers up to you.
