Ok, this may sound very yuk,but I want to know what it is! Since I was about 4 I have always had a bad throat, and I practically always had tonsilitus. My tonsils are scared very bad and are not nice, and every so often I get white lumps on them. They look exactly like the ones you get when you have glandular fever, but are smaller.I know I don't have glandular fever though.I don't always have a sore throat when I get these, but sometimes they appear before or after I get a sore throat.Does anyone have any idea what they are???

Love,Tinker

Tinks, go to the quack and get him to have a look - white spots sounds like a throat infection to me and perhaps you would benefit from anti-biotics.

Tink~

When my kids have those white spots the Dr does a throat culture and it is almost always strep.

You should have it looked at and if it is so reoccuring then you should check into prevention as well.

Be well.

white spots is strep. When I was at the doctors last week he told me about it. I had a viral infection in my throat. He said the difference is that with strep you have pussy nodules in the back of your throat, while viral infections just leave it looking raw and red. So, there ya go - get some antibiotics.

My sister had that same problem and they eventually stopped when she changed her diet. Hmmmm.
