I think we should compile a list of books and or movies that can offer strength. If you can/want just add to this list.

"If Life is a Game these are the rules" book
"In the Meantime" book
http://www.joecarver.com website
"The Prophet"

I have more and I'll list them tomorrow

The one minute manager. Can't remember who wrote it, but it's very short, to the point, and really can make you see other people and yourself in a whole new light if you allow yourself to change perspective.

I have gotten much help from the Melody Beattie books, "Codependent No More", "Beyond Codependency" and also "The Language of Letting Go", the daily meditations for codependents. Also, "Men Who Hate Women & The Women Who Love Them." These are books I have. Today, I borrowed "The Journey from Abandonment to Healing" from the library which I've heard is good and also "The Dance of the Wounded Souls" is supposed to be good from what I hear. I have also read a lot of Dr. Wayne Dyer's books, listened to his tapes and watched him on TV and he has always helped me. When I think of others I've borrowed from the library, I'll let you know.
