the way to an easier life is first of all from an easier you. you must understand that every thing is not going to be peachy. and that life can play some mean tricks on you. start clean and love yourself, that's important!!!!

great advice, but it starts with understanding that most of the people here have never learnt to love themselves and only here are learning to do that. positivity and simplicity are great but they don't teach people how to do something their parents sometimes havn't evn figured out. Blaming someone or something has got to be a step in the healing process. hopefully we all end up thinking like you, untill then thats why we are here

Winter...I think you should change your byline to Spring! your last post was really to the point and hit the nail on the head.

Only recently have I stopped negating positive compliments given me and jsut anwered with a "Thank you very much"

And it IS great to have 4-5 hours with NO pressing responsibiliteis to even just sit and wait to see what you really want to do.

I don't know if "blaming" is the work I'd use..but it is close. Placing the repsonsibility for poor habits we've been taught is approprriate. Then forgiving is in order....which may take tons of time. Remember that if you are now an adult you are now responsibile for your head and heart...it may be mommy or daddy's fault you're whacked out but as an adult you can choose how you feel about things.

maybe I am off base here.
