29 years is a long time to be together. Try marriage counseling. Also communicate with her. Find out what it is that's making your marriage unhappy and try to put it in what's not there.

Sounds like some frustrations have been stuck in a pile some where, and now in neon. Check a few of these threads, some of the men have gotten their wives talking, I like the book Relational REscue by Phil McGraw, if she is open to working on it with you.
Be loving be open and listen with out a defensive response a few times. Its to long to let go, and worth the effort to keep. Good luck

Twenty nine years is a long time together. Have there been problems all along that were never addressed? How can your wife say she loves you and yet claim to not have been happy "for all of your 29 years together?"

You failed to mention how you feel about her. Problems can arise at any point in a marriage to create doubts. It's important to explore the entire situation with a qualified marriage counselor.

Also, ask yourself what joined the two of you togehter in the first place, what qualities did you both admire in each other? It may be the beginning of rekindling your romance.

Good luck.
