I had money. There's NEVER enough. 2 weeks ago the phone was turned off. I managed to get it back on. Then the water company threatened to turn us off. Some people at church gave me some money and I was able to put it towards that bill and keep the water on by making payment arrangements. And NOW, my car broke down again last night, and they're giving me a ballpark figure of $400 to fix it.

Okay, God is good. I am fortunate that I had the money to turn on the phone, keep the water on, and I even have the money in the bank right now to fix the car and buy groceries for the week. But my other bills will not get paid as they should this week: gas, electric, sewer, water (again) and phone (again). I can never get ahead! And I'm working 2 jobs!!!!!

I make enough to pay all my bills, but when something unexpected comes up, i.e. car repair, I am totally and completely screwed. Not to mention my debt keeps building.

I honestly was going to tithe this week too. Even wrote the check. Now if I do that, I won't be able to feed the family.

I GIVE UP!!!!!!! I'M SERIOUSLY STRESSED!!!

I have been there, i am so sorry for what you are going through, i actually moved in with my parents because times got so tight, the xh quit paying child support so i am on my own now, at least i have my parents.
does your church help out with finances, or food?
i know my church will help pay bills when times are tight, it is very humbling going to the bishop and asking for help but that is what they are there for, there was only about 2 months that they helped me pay my bills, but i was on their food program for a while, it doesnt hurt to talk with them.
hang in there,

For what its worth, I'll keep you in my prayers tonight and hope that something good happens for you, you deserve it.

A church fed us once when we were broke. And my church made a mortgage payment for me a few months ago.

Ask for their help. Most churches have a discretionary "mercy fund" for those in genuine need.
