Well, hells bells - ain't that a kick in the ass?

(I wonder sometimes if that just isn't the reality that I have been kicking and screaming about and avoiding in various ways my whole life????)

Ya think?

(Bottom line??????????)

Oh my - what is left after that one????

hi tbt, am not sure i understand what u mean by your post, but i agree with the title... life isn't fair. i just read about little baby James Bulger, and it tore my heart to pieces. it pretty much says the same thing, life isn't fair.

Tbt,

No, life is not fair and yes we spend more time focused with the kicking and screaming and blaming then just accepting it for what it is.

At times life is not fair, period end of story, move on and get on with life.

But that’s the problem many have, focused on the could of’s, should of’s and all the why’s.

Can’t get on with life or move forward when all you are doing is looking backwards.

LOL …….I loved your post!!!!!!!

I myself realized a long time ago that life is not fair. When I finally had that lightbulb go off????!!!!Wow what a difference. I quit expecting that the next time and the next time and the next that something would be different. This is life.

yeah, life isn't fair...i think we just have to go with the ups and downs of life and make the best of every situation even if it is bad.

life is never fair and I was much releived when I realized that it wasn't and that I couldn't control everyone and society. I am much more relaxed now when bad things come up and I site the "Serenity Prayer" daily.

But sometimes life is fair or is it justice?

Love, Z

Ahhh such wise folks here! Thanks to each and everyone for posting!

One thing leads to another in my - what has kind of sort of turned out to be a quest here and just now ran across the following:

IRRELEVANCE

Life is not designed to be predictable or orderly
In Business, Economics, Economy, Faith, Life, Politics, Religion, Thoughts on December 7, 2008 at 6:01 am
The news media would have everyone believe that this recession is the end all and be all of troubles for the masses in the “developed” world.

Nothing is for certain except birth and death for those alive today.

There is no such thing as “security” or guarantees. We may delude ourselves for a bit at times. We can fashion a life that appears that it is what we wish it to be, but the control and direction are oft not in our power.

Then out of nowhere change is forced upon us.

Natural disasters such as flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes or drought will change many peoples’ lives forevermore.

When “acts of ___” are not at play, it is “acts of People” which cause lives to change, for better or for worse.

Changes in governments, policies, oppression and war have consequences for many and have the power to end lives as well.

Life has never been static, always dynamic and that is why it is referred to as life.

There will be people suffering from lack of a few things and may lose a few material possessions in this economy, but they will survive and as long as there is life, they have the opportunity to see another day with challenges.

That is something we should be thankful for. This dynamic force called life.

Hmmmmm.

Maybe this has been my problem...ASSUMPTION that life SHOULD BE predictable and orderly when in fact, it is not.

(oh, the process never ends...)
