The BEST.....? Hmmmm. I remember lately that there is an "all you can eat" crab-legs feast at the local "China King" buffet on Sundays....I starve myself all day Sunday - then go there and pile on the crab-legs with the side little bowl of garlic butter. God, I make such a pig of myself...butter dripping damn near all the way down to my elbow....cracking legs and claws as if there is no tomorrow....even going so far as to close my eyes at the first, sweet, meaty, succulent drench of sweet crab meat into the unsuspecting butter...ummmm ummmm good - I don't care if the waiters/waitresses talk about me or not...it's just TOO DAMN GOOD....wish I was there right now....ummmph - have to wait until Sunday now.......

Oh Lord!! Right up my alley!!

It has to be at Pappadeaux's seafood in Dallas. It was part of my birthday present last year. Started with the crawfish fondant...Sumptuous! A meal in itself. Then of course I ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi, along with loaded baked potato, cesaer salad, and we always ordered different things so we could share. Heck the bread alone filled me up! BTW..If anyone wants that recipe, I have it!
Hmmm... That brings back memories. After we ate, he took me to see "Cold Mountain" I was happy then...

I have had so many very fine dining experiences, it was hard to choose!

Sunny 🙂

The best meal I ever had was on my 16th birthday. My dad took me out for a filet mignon dinner. Told me filet mignon was only for special occasions and we had a great time together. Most special time coz didn't see my dad much coz he worked all the time. Have only had it maybe 2 or 3 more times since then.

I went to a traditional spanish restaurant and had all sorts of tapas (like big appetizers), sangria with the fruit on the bottom, and cafe con leche.

The tapas were deeeelicious...

chicken curry salad with apples and carnberries

stuffed artichokes filled with ricotta cheese

pinwheel puff pastry with brie, prosciutto, olives and a sugar-glaze

maduros and amarillos (ripe and unripe plantains)

yummmmmmmers.....
