Take a bath, light the candle and put on the music, relax. In the morning when you get up, make lists, then rearrange the list by priority , then take another bath.

Lewis, go get some exercise before you take a bath! Sometimes knocking your socks off with a good workout gets those endorphins raging and they make the picture a little clearer.

Then, how about a long ride in the country? Or at least a long walk? How about writing all your thoughts down and then re-reading them and sorting them. It's easier to see what we're thinking than to actually think it.................?

Care to elaborate on the upside-downness of your life?

Thankyou for your replies.

I do relax, take my time, and plan steadily........ Take relaxing baths and think in there, surround myself with candles and I adore music. I've been doing this kind of stuff for years, I write 'Must Acheive Lists'. I take care of myself that way. Nevertheless, it's still there...........

Aleana:
To elaborate on the 'upsidedownside' of my life is that; I get tired, upset and sick of this game called Life. Obtacles keep rising their ugly heads, and then once again I,m back at the bottom of the ladder.

To be more elaborate would be to go into finer detail? I'm not so sure?
Nevertheless, Moody, Blue Days keep knocking on my door, and I'm tired of it all, the struggle. I think maybe I take life too seriously?
I feel confused and lost sometimes, not really knowing where I'm going, who I am, etc etc etc.

I also keep a 'Book Of Thought' I like writing about what I see, feel etc etc etc. I even attempt poetry. When I read back on the old days and not so long ago, I sound like a really unhappy kido!

Am I self Obsessed? There's alot of I'S here?
In love with the sadness?
Asking questions that I don't have the answers too?

Just seeking a bit of happiness really.

I remember being in love with sadness.
I wrote tons of depressing poetry and bad love songs.

Yeah..the Game of Life can really be a drag. Would you rather the alternative.

Lewis. Are you playing the Game or letting the game play you?

WE can all tell you what you should do....but I think some of it may have to do (just an opinion) with your point of view.

Include on your list..."find something pretty"-"watch for something funny" (Once driving to a city an hour away my daughter and I saw a tree and two bushes....looked just like a male sexual organs..talk about a chuckle!!!)(or the sign that said "Moose Parking"-still haven't seen a moose in that town)

Banish your negetive thoughts and conciously replace them with positives.

Be happier....sounds trite..but it isn't easy.

Personally I just got tired of being so damned depressed.

lewis,

when you think that you are too lazy, try to sort things out. What do you want? How do you want things? What would you change first, if you could choose? What is the worst that could happen if you....? When I find myself lazing aroung, I usually don't know what I want. And I can write "to do" lists all day long. When I'm not sure that I want to do the things that are on the list - they won't get done. Sonds easy, sometimes it is hellishly complicated....

I don't think you are being lazy. I feel that you are switching off, because you are fed up. If the things on the list are not done, then you have sub-consciously decided they are not worth doing! Why is this? ask yourself what you wouls rather do, and the answers will start to come.
