You wouldn't happen to know Hamad would you? jk

Umm. was it a family kiss or a lover kiss you experienced? And does your cousin also think of the kiss the same way you did? If so, how does your cousin feel about it all?

I think what you did is perfectly normal. In some states you can even legally marry you first cousin's. I never had a kissing cousin but my sister did and she is a normal person today. I had many of very pretty cousins I wish I could of kissed.

Please don't feel bad for the kiss. Kissing a cousin is a far cry from incest.

yuck....yuck....yuck! if you were to have children with a cousin do you know how many birth defects are possible? Have you ever heard of inbreeding? it is wrong. you might not be thinking of children, but why even start the process with kissing? it all makes me sick. would you kiss or have sex with your brother? Than why with your cousin?

Hold on.....I got a story.

One of my very best friend and her husband have been married since 1970 and they are first cousins. Mothers were blood sisters. They never saw each other as children and met face to face when he was recovering from injuries from VietNam. They were both 21 at the time. They had to go to South Carolina to be married, both sides of the family deserted them, they have 2 perfectly normal kids. One is a research biologist. There isn't anything incestual about any of them, they're good people. Families have since come around, what's left of them. They are all just as normal and abnormal as anyone else I know. Okay, so maybe that doesn't say alot for the people I know :-)......but hey, just telling what I know about kissing a cousin.

It's a law that you cannot marry any cousin closer than a third cousin. Kissing is not marriage... but how old are you?

Kissing cousins my mom had one, and they just joked about it until they were in their 50's. So, flirting huh, both of you!! Just look at it as fun, and look for your mate elsewhere, don't go on a guilt trip, or let your carnal imagination go . Now at every family reunion, you can hollar out hey that is my kissing cousin.

Actually, genetically speaking the children of first degree relatives in the first generation tend to be healthier, on average, than the children of genetically distinct parents. It's a weird Mendellian thing. But after the first generation you get a whole host of recessive-allele disorders.

But that's all semantics.
