I am stressing right now. I got paid yesterday, and I have $4.00 left to my name. I have no idea how I will pay for my train ride to work for the next 2 weeks; and I have enough food in the house for 2 more days.

My husband does not contribute, and wouldn't be able to anyway until Tuesday.

Like an idiot, I borrowed $100 from my son to get my cat home from the vet. This stupid vet wouldn't release my cat to me without the $100, even though I gave him $150 yesterday and explained my financial situation and requested payment arrangements for the balance. He tells me I misunderstood him and he told me I had to pay the balance when I picked up Tweak. He "graciously" accepted the $100, and I have a balance of $53. Good grief.

I feel like throwing up. But what I tell myself is.... Just for today, I have what I need. I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and clothes on my back. And you know what? It's true! Praise God!

there is a part of a song that is going through my head "Don't worry about tomorrow Gods got it under control so Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding acknowledge him in all your ways and he shall make thy path strait.

I need to hear it again today. I feel like the walls are closing in around me. Deep breathing. Just for today, I have what I need.

Jastypes, I feel like you might be feeling that free falling anxiety. Money can do that to me. I have lots of money at times an other times I have not had any at all. When I don"t have enough to go around I have to write alist of what is going on and what needs to be paid first and what I can putoff for a day or so. Somehow having it on paper instead of floating around in my mind helps me feel like I have more control over things. Hope this helps horsefly

There's nothing worse than financial troubles. Having been there, do you have an old TV you could pawn, any used book stores or videeo game stores you could sell things to, and clothing stores which will buy clothing outright? The payday loan places are generally a bad idea, but that's an option, too. I've done all of these things. Pay advance at work? Anything you can return that you got for Christmas?

I agree, too, that it will work out, but I'm a realist, too, and you must have money.

I just have to share how good God is. On Saturday, my one son took up a "collection" from his friends for gas money. That gave me enough gas to go see my mom (who is undergoing cancer treatment). She was thrilled that I could get there, and when I left, she gave my family $55.00. So I put more gas in the tank and bought some necessary groceries (milk/bread) and I had train fare to get to work today (and have train fare for tomorrow too.) In the meantime, my sister put $20 in the mail to me so I could have gas to visit mom. Our church food pantry loaded me up with groceries on Sunday, including a 15 pound turkey! I had extra typing work over the weekend, and made $95.00 which I will get some time this week -- knowing God, it will be just in time and when I need it!

Jastypes, it's amazing how god provides in times of need. Usually when you are at your "lowest" or when you just don't know where to turn or what to do, there he is !!
I am sorry to hear about your mom, but I am glad you got to go see her.
Truly a Blessing.
Best wishes, Giggles @--]----

Yes God does protect us and watch over us. Let us all count our blessing when we can.

I hope that he continues to bless you. and I also notice that you help yourself (taking the extra work, visiting your mom) Good for YOU!,jastypes
