Happy Birthday Aquarius!

I'm up for one on the 27th

Sorry to hear your feeling down. I think down-type feelings come from either a situation (like the family getting together) sometimes just not knowing how to feel about some situation or even just catching a cold sometimes. I hate catching colds and can't explain why it actually makes me feelworse about catching it than the cold itself!

What other kinds of things will get you down?

mnsm,

happy birthday! Did the visit of your parents go well, or is it still in the future?
Freezing rain means slippery roads, that reminds me: when it is slippery, what helps me in moving forward without hurting myself: small steps, and especially when the road is not flat but uphill: walk as if I trust each of your steps 100 %. That way I most likely won't slip. But even if I slip, somehow I hurt much less that when I'm afraid and make insecure moves.
So: trust yourself. You'll get it right. And take small and safe steps while it is slippery out there!

Feelings are strong connectors to our true desires, our boundaries, our needs and our hopes. Perhaps the down feelings are related to your parents visit and you intellectually feel guilty for not being happy about them coming or you are trying to justify being happy etc. When some of us are cut off from our true feelings this causes confusion and can make us feel depressed. It is common for those who have come from homes where feelings were not respected or acknowledged as much as other siblings or parents..etc

mnms,

I really like eve's analogy of walking slowly when the terrain is slippery...

From your postings, I can gather this visit could be slippery for you?

What kinds of small, careful steps do you think will keep your balance?

mnms,

I wonder if having subtle mood swings is some type of aquarian thing? I know I can feel really good and then -wham! down in the slumps. Who knows why. I've ben all through looking into food as a possibilty, and now paxil has been exceptionally helpful but it doesn't always seem to be associated with a "thing" in particular.

Is that what you mean?

Sometimes, I just think it's the moon position! Tonight, a full moon here, it's best to be careful about my thoughts.

Well,
First of all... I'm not an aquarious... I'm a pisces. ABout the visit with my parents...

It could be a slippery one. I don't really know what kinds of small steps I could make to keep from falling. That's something to think about... thanks.
