Hi Everybody,
No luck yet. I could of had a job two weeks ago if I wanted to take a $20,000- cut in pay or pay the difference between single health coverage an family. I realize now that if I want out I will definetly have to take a cut in pay and that's ok but I want to stay local for travel. That will be hard. Anyway, I guess my boss must know somethings up cause he's going out of his way to be nice to me. Too little too late. We are VERY slow at work so we've been asked to work only four days a week so I will see how hard it is to get used to being cut in salary. Part of me hopes that if we're that slow they will lay me off and then I can fully concentrate on finding another job but then I would have to pay for my entire healthcare and that's not a happy thing. My advise to you is think about what you like to do the best and see if you can find a way to make money doing it. I know it sounds silly but a lot of crazy businesses started that way. I'm too old for that. I'm about 6-8 years from retirement so I will just get something else and coast along. As long as God doesn't punish me and make me stay where I am I will be fine.
