Hiya Jewel! *hugs* How are you? I read your posts... Is he still over your place? There are plenty of places that you can go even though you don't have health insurance! I am sure that if you go to an AA meeting, they can direct you to a detox place that you can stay at or something? I'll look at their site...Well, what I wanted to know was the name of that book that you said has all the feelings listed in it? I am going tomorrow to the library. =) If you don't get on before then, that's fine, I live right near the library (hop, skip and a jump) *lol* I wish I could help you out more than just typing out words! This is so inadequate! Love ya! ~Amanda~

Hello Amanda,

I am doing much better right now. I realize that sobriety is the most important thing for me to focus on right now. Whether I stay with my man or not, my life will still go on. YOu know. How are you doing today? I hope good.

Oh, to answer your question.

It is called Faith in the Valley-Lessons for Women on the Journey to Peace By Iyanla Vanzant

It is so cool because on the top of each page it has a thought or emotion and then talks about that particular feeling. Saved me many times. I used to carry it with me everywhere in my purse. The woman who wrote that is such a strong writer. I highly recommend it. She is great. I hope they have it at the library. Don't you think that is totally awesome how I found it.

Well, I hope all is well with you. Talk to you hopefully soon.

Jewel

Thanks. =) Yeah, that is awesome how you found that book. I'm glad you are doing better now. Keep posting here! I will miss you if you don't! hehe I have been reading all the posts in the 'boyfriend issue' thread...I'm sorry to have intruded in it! *lol* It's a lot of advice/information to take in all at once. (Man! How easy it is to dish advice out...But when it's time for me to get down to it and work on myself...*lol* I'm like a stubborn mule!) ~Amanda~

Amanda,

Hey, how's it going? Hopefully good. Did you get a chance to check out that book? You can go to http://www.Amazon.com and actually read some of the pages in it if you didn't get a chance to get it. I find it very helpful. It sure lifts my spirits.

I love jewel btw, you should read her poetry, gorgeous. She talks a lot about addiction.
