I love the snow!! It is so pretty outside right now - the first days of falling snow are always the best...thought I'd share the song I was just singing with those of you who are unfortunate not to have snow where you're from 🙁
and Mich if you read this-you sing with me too!!

I have so learned to love you AND your singing....I am so not ready for snow...PERIOD. But sing shall we, something has to get us through. I admit it is pretty. Now, that said, I think that it is only pretty for two days out of the year...December 24th and the 25th. I want to move to Florida, or somewhere south of Tennessee. We must have a half inch or better of snow on the ground, and it just keeps coming...Calgon, take me away. I am so cold, I have not been able to get myself warm...

Oh i love the snow, i love to sit at the window and watch it fall, or go out and play and throw snowballs and make snow sculptures, driving in it is not my favorite thing to do, not a lot of people know how to drive in the snow so it can be a bit scarry, but other than that, i love it, i got 2 feet at my house in 6 hours one year, it was so cool, my van got stuck while i was trying to pull into my driveway, it was so funny, my kids got it on viedo, when i went out to shovel the snow that day it was so peacefull and quiet, i loved it. it has not snowed here in Utah yet but i am sure it will soon...
i hope,
now i want to go sleading....

Okay you guys, you know I am jealous!!! It is in the 70's here, sunshine, same o, same o. I want to see snow!.
I have always wanted to go to the Mall of America during the winter so I can shop and be in snow.

wouldnt that be a blast, when we are cold and tired of snow men we can go to the southern Gulf coast, when we are tired of hanging out on the beach making sand castles we can fly back up north and ski.

alrighty I jumped the gun – it was just flurries that passed on through – SHOOT, but boy was it sure pretty while it lasted. Almost ready to get my snow boots on too! Not fair Mich – you guys already have about an inch on the ground?! I can see my grass again.
Mich~ you mentioned about desiring to live in Florida- I used to live in Calif yrs ago when my family migrated out west -they all stayed/still there, but I came back home. To me there is something to be said about having four really different seasons and of course there is no place like home~~~ And anytime you need me to sing – let know, or better yet I’m always looking for a singing partner…next party – you and me, K? And GG can be our back up singer OR would that be the back up dancer….???? Hmmmm been wondering what GG stood for, now I’m going to be thinking Go-Go dancer : ), a feisty Go-Go dancer at that!
And Elle & OMW~ snow is beautiful isn’t it? Gosh Elle your van getting stuck story is what makes winters so much fun, really. It has a way of bringing people closer, esp after a huge snow storm and everyone’s digging themselves out - love it- love it- love it. And yes, those days when it's not freezing out, “it is so peacefull and quiet.” Say, I’ve heard that Utah is beautiful – think I drove through a corner of it – or through the mountains there once – YES, I did. Isn’t that on the way to Calif from MN?—I think it is, think I've been there. Beautiful state. UT-OH, its making think of another song…
GG- I think you should go Christmas shopping at the Mall of America – you people without snow still have Christmas don’t you? Couldn't imagine what that would be like...but I guess it can be done.
Good idea Mich...Hey – maybe we can get Jenni to set us up a beach party… this weekend... “oh Jenni…Mich needs to get warmed up....”

I just posted on Army's thread- it just breaks my heart... Mich you've been there too feeling like there is no hope...we can't lose that hope that life will get better...so many of us have been there...we just can't give up...

I understnad her though, giving up feels so much easier right now. I am trying so hard, but itisn't easy... I just don't want to get up somedays... but I have to, due to the fact that I have four babies to take care of.I am going to stop right there though, my mood is already starting to go downhill, and I can't emotionally handle another night like I had all day yesterday...
If it makes you feel any better, most of our snow melted... I just wanna be somewhere where we can have abeach party. Granted I would not be caught dead in a swimsuit around all of you, but hey, we can still party right... where is Jen,, we need a beach party this weekend, I agree whole heartedly..

Listen miss DJ, first, I am no back up anything!!! I am the lead dancer!!! A dancing bouncer; that doesn't even sound like a good thing.
And yes, we do have Christmas here! No, I do not buy the canned snow either!
Scared, you are welcomed to the south only if I can escape to Michigan during hurricane season.

Yeah those hurricanes are not on my list of things to do. I can respect that. I don't really want to live i Florida, too humid and gets almost too hot, but Tennessee would be good. I have only been to Florida twice. My family went two years ago to Navarre Beach, and my daughter had a wish granted to go to Disney this last January. I just loved it. But, I have never been there when it is too ungodly hot. But, I loved seeing the ocean when I was there the first time, and dolphins, it was amazing to me.
She really doesn't want me doing back up singing either...there is not enough alcohol to make everyone ok with all of that...

say if you see Jen around tonight let her know the line up here we got going on here for a beach party this weekend...Elle has some great ideas too...REALLY like the hot surfer dudes and would imagine Mich likes the idea of a someone to watch the kids so she can have a great, relaxing time...OH and GG, I do have to agree about the dancing bouncer thing AND Jenni has a friend that can be the bouncer - SBD (Single Beach Dad) he'll fit right in for a beach party. I'm ready to roll... and don't forget GG to bring your canned snow with ya!!

I like snow... until I have to drive in it. Fortunately they're good about sanding the roads and it all melts off within a couple days so I only have to do old lady driving maybe a total of a couple weeks out of the year.
But it's still a pain in the butt to drive in it!
My favorite thing is when it's snowed on everyone's Christmas decorations. It's so pretty seeing the colored lights on the shrubs glowing through it.
