Is it wrong to hang up on someone who is verbally abusing or manipulating you?

(((fantas)))-

Thanks. Yes, I do wish I had some genius way of dealing with things like that, but I do not. Honestly, I think he was trying to manipulate me, and I frustrated him. On top of things, I was still being a good friend and being supportive of him. He has a therapist. He went to her. So he is in treatment. She is aware of how deeply he is depressed. Depression is something I don't take lightly as I am a longtime sufferer myself. I think he is isolating and saw me as a potential lifeline. This scares me. I cannot believe the hostility in his words, I've never heard anything like it.

He doesn't seem to want to go out of his way to see me, so even before this conversation I figured... well, how important could this be to him? He just wants what he wants when he wants it the way he wants it. Something I've seen before. I'm running for the hills. I always harbored some fear of meeting men from online in person. He was no exception. So now that he did me the favor of already acting like a psychopath, I don't have to worry about it.

WOW! I would have done the same thing, you have every right, so its not wrong.
Thank goodness you found out his true ways before even meeting him and investing more time.
If he behaves this way over a pet, what will he be like if a family member got sick or you just didnt feel like it.
GOOD RIDDENS TO BAD RUBBAGE.

yeez...he's a double dose of whacked isn't he? Not to be funny or mean, but honestly...who wants to take that on in a relationship? Fortunately you didn't have too much invested in him it seems.
