I don't know why. For the past month I haven't been able to get a full night's sleep. I'd say the stress has gotten to me, but what stress? School isn't that tough right now. I sleep maybe 3 hours a night now. That's nothing new to me for every now and then, but this has gone on for too long.
For the past 3 days I have felt a throbbing pulse in my eyeballs.during every waking hour. My left eye is twitching now. I slept for 3 hours this afternoon. My sister woke me up to talk to me for a second, now I can't go back to sleep. I'm tired as hell, but my body won't go back to sleep.

This morning my body started to reject itself. I got up from watching tv all night, took a shower, brushed my teeth, then threw up stomach acids. I didn't have any food in my stomach so that really hurt coming up. I then went into my room, got dressed, then puked again. My throat has been sore from that all day.

Is it time to see a doctor about all of this? Keep in mind that I can't see one until next weekend, so I'm going to be on my own for all of next week.

MY problem was that i was depressed and anxious they put me on an antideppressent and it worked wonders you better go to the doctor tomorrow i would recommend a pych office.

Insomnia sucks harshly. There's something about being awake at 4am with no prospects of sleep in sight that makes you want to scream in frustration, or cry, or something.

And you're right, your hurting because you're not getting any deep sleep cycles in there.

I've had insomnia off and on for about 6 years now, since I was 16. I've been on antidepressants, I've had prescription sleeping pills, tranquilizers, you name it, I did it.

I read an article recently about how vigorous exercise makes your brain release the same amount of serotonin as leading antidepressants like Prozac, without all the side effects.

Well, since I started regular exercise, including yoga to quiet my mind and strengthen my nervous system, I've been able to sleep through the night and then some. I still have some sleepless nights but the proportion is dramatically reduced. Something to think about - it's free, and do-it-yourself.

Wouldn't you know it? Starting the night after I wrote this post, I've done nothing but sleep like a baby. 15 hours of deep sleep, I wake up, watch tv, sleep another 12 hours, go to school for 6 hours, come home, sleep for 12 hours and go to school again. And damnit if I'm not ready to hit the sack again. But you know what's a real kick in the nuts? My left eyeball is still twitching. It's been bugging out all day and it's really starting to annoy me.
