Ladeska,
Thankyou for the charmer/abuser info. It is helping me get over my last disappointment. I learned a lot from it and will keep referring to it.

Yes, I am indeed learning and keep reading the charmer/abuser info everyday so I never forget what opened my eyes after so many years of struggling and disappointments. I didn't mention that I'm over retirement age so thats gives you a clue how long it took me. On the other hand it does show we can learn at any age especially after it hurts enough, right.

Hi Tumbles,

I like to think of my life as a work in progress...

Thanks, Zinnie. Precisely what I was thinking today. It is a work in progress like a journey and never really completed. Always have to be aware of the bumps in the road, too. Easier said than done many times.

Even though I think I've learned a lot this past year in different areas, I must remind myself learning is ongoing. I may feel strong at this moment, but I must still keep going on a day when I'm feeling down. I have found when those days come as they do for most of us that if I just do something, anything it helps to get out of that mood. It doesn't matter if its just to bake something, take a walk, write in a journal or whatever but something.
