My husband whom I love dearly or at least am obsessed with, left me a week and a half ago and I'm feeling hopeless in general because he isn't making contact with me or our son even.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop suffering over him? Maybe hypnosis?

with time, everything becomes more acceptable. seperation, and divorce changed my whole life... I have 2 kids. it seemed like I would never be able to accept all of this... but you wake up one day after all is said and done and you realize you have so much to be thankful for and your life is not over... it has just taken a new pathway. there are many many people going thru seperation and divorce just like you. the feelings are overwhelming at times, but cry, feel the emotions and keep looking to the future. It will all be OK. Keep talking about how you feel and keep your head up.

Hi nomore - Unfortunately, there are no magic remedies to rid ourselves of heartache. Grieve, be sad, get angry, and eventually you'll heal. It's a bit of a rough road, but talking about it will help to ease some of the pain. Time helps (I hate when people say that but it's true), leaning on friends, coming here - it all helps. You won't die from this, I promise... in fact, this may be a catalyst that takes you to a better place in your life. Keep writing :o)
