if you have some bread you can dice up mix it with those ingredients with some chicken stock maybe add some celery, or mushrooms if you have them...

Good Luck!

That could work, Random. And you could also roll the dry ramen noodles with a rolling pin to make the stuff.

Do you have any sage, or parsley, to add to the mix? If you use the Italian Bread crumbs, it might turn out kind of pasty....Why don't you forgo the stuffing and serve the Game Hens with a side of Ramen noodles?

What else do you have in your pantry?

yes, use that...toast the crumbs, or better yet, heat up some butter and carmelize the onion, maybe with one small clove of garlic, add the crumbs...cook them until they are coated and golden, add salt, pepper, and check the italian seasoning for taste - you may want to add a touch more sage or marjoram...

Other things to add to stuffing:

dried cranberries, raisins, currants, maybe finely diced yam or sweet potatoe (for a sweet/savory flavor)

roasted red pepper or regular red bell pepper, green bell pepper, zucchini,or summer squash for italian type flavor,

or pine nuts and parma cheese. Ooh, or some feta crumbles?

Choose some other ingredients, cook until soft, add the chicken broth (noodle packet mixed w/ hot H20) until moist, stuff your tiny birds...or bake in a casserole dish...I think the key is to make sure it has plenty of butter/fat in it.

Good luck,

zax

thank you very much everyone. The bread crumbs have lots of flavor. I heated up some butter and cooked the onion and the garlic then added some water and added the bread crumbs. It tasted real good as is so I went ahead and stuffed the chicken. I know it will be pasty but thats alright with me as long as it has good flavor.

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise can be used as a substitute for one egg.

thank you very much. How badly does it effect the tast cause it sounds gross. I ended up baking a pancake cake just mixed up a lot of pancake batter and put it in the pan. I turned out pretty good too.
