Does anyone else ever feel that way? Like you don't know what you're doing in life, and you don't know where you're going?

I feel that way all the time.

I feel that way constantly, Artist. I also feel a lot of times like I am just going through the motions of life, not really grasping it or fully embrasing it...like I am just pretending to be an adult, mother, person.

Yes, we all do. Artist and Flower, 2 beautiful names for 2 lovely ladies on this wonderful site!

Oh well, I would say get involved in doing something useful and positive to your community. Read "The purpose driven life" by: Rick Warren.

Bake cake/muffin, have pet, volunteer, give to charity.

Today for isntance is rainy as well as tomorrow, that means that I am stuck indoors for the whole week-end. That makes me have the blues. However I am planning to do something positive: pray for some cyber friends, play with kitty, take foam bath and fix myself nice supper in the evening.

I have a great daybook called "simple abundance", which is full of thoughts and meditations regarding finding your true callings and direction in life, your authentic self, through a daily concideration or exercize. I may start printing one of them every day here, I think a lot of us are sort of feeling 'lost' lately.

Flower, that is great book the one I was referring to on your thread about depression. I have only similar which I take with me everywhere I go. We all need to nourish our souls, otherwise we would feel depleted.

Yes, honey, print some of its stuff to us. We need spiritual food a lot!

Artist - I think I must say that out loud at least 5 times a week. I always used to enjoy my life, now... well, thats a different story. I really don't know what I am doing or where I am going. But I listen to John Mayer and he says "stop trying to figure it out, it'll only bring you down". I hear that every day at work, yet I still try and figure it out to no avail!!!

In addition, I read lately that eating chocolate while listening to your favorite music is good remedy for Depression.

So, here is tip to you Flower and all of us who suffer from the blues.

Since I am allergic to chocolate most of the year, I've had chocolate brownies for breakfast today. And I feel much better!!! ~Ras~

It is a beautiful sunny morning in Seattle and I am going to try to motivate and go for a run around the lake. Someone else recommended the purpose driven life as a good read. I'll have to check it out. Have a good day everyone, and make sure to get some chocolate too!
