Hey, I'm back! It has been exactly a month since my last visit to this board! I shared my worries and concerns about my guy's dental work on my last post! Unfortunately, I'm kind of stuck with the same!
Grek(that is his name) had tooth extraction instead of a root canal for his tooth cavity, now he has bite issues while having food!
The irritation was bearable in the beginning but now it seems to become worse!
Last night we went to a dental clinic in Milton to get this issue fixed, but after a thorough check-up, the doc suggested Grek, to go for a dental implant (https://www.milltowndental.com.....dentistry/)! Actually, it isn't that necessary, but the dentist said so after considering Grek's age! He is just 26 and lost 2 teeth! So the idea of having a dental implant sounds convincing to me too.
Both of us know nothing about life with a dental implant, neither the pros nor the cons! I won't be pushing him for this if there is even a slight possibility of any side effects or something!
Unfortunately, I don't belong to any dental forums, I have only you guys! So tell me, what should I suppose to do now? Motivate him to go for a dental implant or to look for other options?
Also, do dental implants lasts forever or do we need to replace it after some time? Precisely asking, how long do dental implants last?
